Yes. The colors really do make a big difference! Just getting the three or more colors right. I am following what you say about color. Thank you as i am getting more confidence with it now. Sara x
I think the lighter flower looks more realistic. Maybe it’s because there are very few blue flowers, but it’s a lesson I will use on some pink flowers soon!
I needed a Pamela fix and was watching your last video with all that bling when the notification came out!!🤗😍 Beautiful contrast!! 💙 There are a few more of these exact flowers on the page. It would be cool to see you finish them off with slightly different blue combos!! 💚🩵
Pamela, great tips! Hi everyone. I’m posting here instead of the community post from yesterday were Pamela posted about the great deal and prisma color premier pencils on Amazon hoping that more people will see this and respond. I got overnight shipping and checked my set today and I am missing the lavender and lilac. I know those were discontinued but the new replacement pencils are not in the set either. Instead they sent two white pencils and a colorless blender. I’m just wondering if anybody else got their set today and had the same thing happen?
How disappointing. I heard that Prismacolor were doing this. Did they indicate the substitution on the box? I've been thinking of getting a backup set, but will wait now.
When they got rid of Lilac and Lavender, they added in a blender and white pencil as a replacement. There are still lots of sets that have these replacements. This may be why the pencils are only $88. But, even if you purchased the new two new colors open stock, you got a fantastic deal on a set of Prismacolors. They didn't even go this low on Black Friday this past year.
@@raggedblossom508 yes, the box has a grid showing the color numbers with a little round swatch. It lists one white swatch, so it only has 149 swatches, the missing swatch must be the colorless blender. So, there is a total of 150 pencils in the set, that includes two white pencils and one colorless blender instead of the lilac and lavender or the two new replacements. Like Pamela says I still got a great price, I will just purchase the two new colors separately. It would just be nice if they wrote this in the description of the product on Amazon, so people knew exactly what they were getting.
Hi, Blick has the same set for just $4.42 more than Amazon. Also free shipping on $59 dollars or more. I would rather pay a little more and get them from Blick, because they make sure they are properly packaged and protected from getting damaged in shipping. I have ordered colored pencils from Amazon and the packaging was just a bag, zero protection from damage. We all know how fragile colored pencils are when being shipped. Plus Blick is great at replacing any colored pencils that are defective or damaged. Amazon you have to return the whole box and get a replacement hoping all the pencils will be good.

@@stellajean3020 thank you. You’re right about Amazon’s packaging
Did you take art classes to learn all your techniques or did you learn these techniques on your own?
I learned all of this through practice. I've been using colored pencils for almost 10 years now.
