- I finally decided to dye my hair green so I went with a beautiful vibrant green that fades into a darker green the higher up towards the roots. I like this ombre effect because it makes the color look blended and gives it depth, so I used a new black dye to mix a custom shade to achieve the look. It's a pretty good solvent without damaging the counter itself, but saves you a lot of time cleaning up

@@alanistoro8428 usually she doesn’t wear gloves with semi-permanent hair dyes cause it’s not harmful and it looks quite cool. But this might be a different kind of dye so i’m not sure

I recommend the adore dyes. They last so long and they are semi permanent and i have super curly hair too and they work so well with it

For ombres it's best to start at the root since it'll process the longest there, and then work your way down the shaft. You could even dilute the mixture with conditioner towards the ends to give more contrast between your root, midsection and ends.

I know this comment is old, but I just dyed my mom's hair lavender. She works for the District Court around Judges, and they love her hair. I'm not sure why this shade of green would be considered unprofessional anywhere. All you need to do is ask your employer before you do it.

Even if your hair is light under the faded colour it doesn’t mean you can do any colour on top of it. There’s still tone and colour on your hair and will affect the way the colour fades out. Also even if you’re using fingers, sections are still good because it makes sure you get every little spot. You look absolutely gorgeous! I reckon green is my favourite colour

You're supposed to do the test closer to your root, where your scalp is to see if you get any allergic reactions lol. There's no use to test it on the tip of your hair, unless it's just to check the quality of the dye. That's all. So, everyone! *Make sure to test the hairdye closer to the root of your hair* in case that's where you'll end up putting dye any way.
She wasn't testing it for allergic reaction, she said she was testing it to see if she wanted to commit to the color and how it looked on her hair

Welp, guess I'm gonna go buy some Good Dye Young now.
I usually use Arctic Fox's Phantom green with a bit of Transylvania mixed in to make it deeper, but it's been so hard to get my hands on it lately especially because I'm in Canada. I've eyed the Kowabunga, but the brightness has always turned me off, until now seeing how it works with the black mixed in. It's perfect!
