love my ixia, had it for around 2 years or just over, shoots like a laser, was looking at the FX but its 4x the price and too many people complaining about quality control for the price point, so opted for one of these, paid £550 for mine and its been my go to gun over everything else, even my 11 year old son can shoot it with good accuracy as long as its on a bench rest as i will agree its heavy.
Andy, you missed out one important feature... The cocking lever can be swapped over to the left hand side to allow those who shoot left handed to fully appreciate this great value airgun..😁 There is also a good selection of 3D printed accessories available from hobbyists on the internet... such as cheek pieces, alternative butt pads, filler covers and even a pump action cocking mechanism!
I'm ambidextrous but shoot lefty because my left eye is my aiming eye. I think the cocking lever is personal preference but for me it makes no difference which side it is on, I just adapt to it. Some good points though.
Had one in .22 for a few months now. It has proved very reliable and consistent. I normally use H&N FTT or Crosman premier in it and it those go exactly where you point it. Compared to my BSA R10se, it is heavy and the trigger is heavier, but predictable. The accuracy is very close. For a Turkish rifle, the engineering is above average. Design features are similar to some others, just better done. Not bad for the price point, you would have to pay a lot more for better and its well above the cheapest stuff.
I’ve had one for nearly 2 years, it’s my go to rifle. Mine was ok with QYS but my best results are with H&N field target trophies. Not bothered by the weight as I only bench shoot. There are some good 3d printed items out there for it, butt hook, cheek piece etc. Have also added a 500cc carbon bottle to mine as well.
It's so great the airgun market is so buoyant and competitive now with qaulity new guns coming to the market all the time to suit all pockets... I can't afford an FX but I can afford this and reckon I would be perfectly happy with one
Had one and it went back to the shop with leaks after it was repaired. I found the magazines and single shot tray were next to useless but the accuracy was exceptional so if you get a good one then you will have no issues.
I have an Ixia, like it a lot, greta review. You missed the biggest problem with the case though. Once you put a scope on the gun you cannot get it in the case so now completely useless. Just bought a Lyra, lovely figured walnut stock. Look forward to the review.

The compact version makes sense and comes with a carbon fibre bottle. Due to its shorter length, a moderator doesnt make the overall length too much of a bind.
I have 1 in 177 and it didn’t like the qys pellets it likes the h&n pellets tho. I only shoot it at the range and at 35yard it would constantly hit an empty .22 brass. I bought mine second hand with a hawk vantage 6-16 scope a nice bsa bag and a huggit magna suppresser for £650 it was a no brainer

Hi Andy, I'm new to air guns and would like to know your thoughts on barrel length versus accuracy? I've looked through your videos but can't see anything that relates to my question. Keep up the great work. Stephen 🏴
It’s a question often asked by people. and if you ask 10 people you will probably get 10 different answers. my experience is “if the barrel is accurate, then the length isn’t an issue. too long can cause as many issues as too short, if it’s not a good barrel. The length has more to do with power difference, but in sub12, that becomes irrelevant because it’s altered in the tuning to compensate.” stay safe Andy
Great Review. @£700 - the price seems to reflect an FAC build cost and the US / other FAC markets? So, using it at 12lb you could well be paying a premium for a decent regulated rifle. It didnt seem / look too comfy at the shoulder Andy? Perhaps the performance and price ratio might not add up for some. But its a very well engineered product nonetheless.
If its good stuff, then why not,I actually don't need any more rifles, but I'm gonna buy one of their rifles soon (I'm gonna blame AAR for that ,lol)as I absolutely love his reviews, honest, factual ,and fun.
you dont need a silencer on an air gun only a pair of ear muffs most of the sound comes from the cylinder that helps to have wood instead of plastic butts
dont worry ..MK2 ???do your research on cheaper gun's please ..(i want you to save money).we are in 2023 ..believe me fx is not what it was before .Because in NL 70% of the 2000 euro + guns has allot of trouble .allot of breakdown's ..come on man 2000 euro + gun ..So i advice if you are not a pro shooter ..look at guns like this etc ..

Good video again. Does anybody have any experience with the new Remington Talon breakbarrel gas ram air pistol yet? Comes in wood and synthetic and .177 and .22. Can't see a single review anywhere yet. It looks real interesting especially with that old school profile, hopefully it shoots as good as it looks. All the best from Lancashire.
I'd recommend anyone with a Reximex rifle to check your air tank, My accura says 250 bar max in white writing and the bottle is stamped PW200BAR which is it's rated working pressure, Bit naughty of reximex that is.
For me the biggest issue is that the gen 1 in Spain was around the 600€ mark, this is 1000€. Sorry that's just too much for a Turkish gun. I can get an FX and RTI for about 10% more. And an AGT for 20% more, no way this is worth that kind of money
This might seem a bit pedantic, but when you produce a group like this in the conditions you were shooting in and say “not too bad”, what would be considered good/exceptional?
Can I hear 'valve bounce'....a farty noise on firing? A known problem in PCP's. It can be sorted by putting different spring combinations.... heavier main valve and hammer spring with obvious power problems. Not the sort of thing you want to do to a new gun.....
FAC is required for anything that pushes over 12 ft lbs. The police think the world will end if anyone has anything more powerful. That said, there are uses for a less powerful rifle that doesn't throw ammunition into the next county or blow holes in the roof of the barn while ratting.
