I remember Mark playing for Bradford, which has a Little Germany area. This dates from the time when it might have been where his parents would have migrated to.
Strange to think this was before Georgia Stanway was born.
I have been watching Bayern and Barcelona women this year, both having Lionesses playing. It helps that I learned German in school for the commentary, though I can pick up some Spanish from learning French. Luckily DAZN have English commentary for Barcelona games.
Being from Bradford, I grew up on Rugby League. Australia's women were awesome in their world cup. It is a pity they do not get the same international coverage.

Please stop asking if she speaks German. That's impolite. Especially the Germans know that in principle it is impossible to learn the language in a few years, except maybe for the Dutches or Scandinavians. Above all since almost all Germans are trying to improve their bad English and avoid to speak German with native english speakers. Life is too short to learn German.
