There is something special about this game. With the Asymmetry and the strongly themed civs it's so much fun. Just with classics. Beating the Romans with the Celts or Macedonians. Losing to mighty Persia, or conquering them with Alexander. It never feels generic or restrictive. My gf doesn't normally like god complex or nation building games, but she loves this one. It's just awesome and I haven't even played any of the legends civs yet leave alone horizons. Just endless replay ability. So much value. Knocked it right out if the park adding fictitious and occultist factions. They got the balance just perfect I think. 🥰
really digging your imperium playthroughs. Just got horizons last week. are you planning on doing videos on the more unusual civs? martians, cultists and the inuit come to my mind.
The other thing is that you need to learn how to play each faction to expect to be effective. If you enjoy a loosing game its a good one. Theres a lot to be learnt. Can be quite a strategic exercise when you realise the opponent has made a clever victory point engine 😮😅😅😅 ❤

Absolutely! My next Imperium video is showing off the Practice mode with the Olmecs. After that I'm down for any of the other civs.

Ya, the new bots seem so strong. Could comfortably bear bots in classics and legends but the horizons are no joke.
The first bot I tried in Horizons was the Magyars and I got destroyed
