The original scene for this scene is much better, her going through the window adds so much to it and it was harder to see that she had a rope around her neck at 1st b/c it was the same color as her hair.
When she says: 'Its all for you, Damien'. Then jumps off if I was one on the parents there I would turn to one of the other parents and say: 'Awww, I feel bad now. All I did was buy him a toy car. ...I hardly put myself out at all.'
I am a huge fan of the original but..I did indeed go to watch this one the mere fact they released this on June 6 2006 I had to be there. I actually liked this version the use of the color (red) was very cool. ❤
I liked it too. Mia wasn't as scary as Billie Whitelaw but she was good in a different way.Billie was a cold criminally insane psychopath.Mia was Mary Poppins' evil twin. The dogs in both versions were equally scary but I don't think this one had the choir doing the breathing sound effects at the end though.
This is done well in both renditions of the movie. When the nanny conceded giving Damien to his mother, it's almost as though the demon dog was chastising her for doing so & demanding her life in penance for her failure to keep the child away from good influences.
This version was more traumatising than the original An ensemble cast consisting of Victor Creed, Nicky Parsons, Kobayashi, Remus Lupin, and Dumbledore
Nah the original was better. This had some nice jump scare elements but nothing else. They tried to increase tickets sales of this movie by releasing it on June 6th, 2006, at 6pm first release.
I agree. I like this version more overall. The acting by the nanny was superior but I think the little Damien from the 70s version was creepier the way he waves to the dog.
Yeah gonna say it… I like this version better… the slow turn, the more understated score… the threat not so clear in the distance… then made clear that horrific dog…
The dad knew this wasn't his real child from the beginning. No way in hell after seeing that would I have kept him. I would have told my wife that ain't our real baby and he got the babysitter killing herself. I'm out! 🤣🤣🤣

AGREE! Only better part in the new one is the two puppets turning to look.
Ill watch evey Omen ever, just for this scene alone. It cracks me up every time

I think I like the scene from the original movie better. Where she crashes through the window. Also, the birthday party isn't nearly this elaborate.
This slapstick comedy could use a nice juicy laugh track.
Man the amount of trauma and therapy bills for all those kids (minus Damien) must be insane.

Why do you satanism? Truly wondering, or maybe you could correct me?
@@damyianwhite5535 If you're asking why Satanism is mentioned it's because this movie is about the son of the devil.

Nah it was to replace the nanny with Mrs. Baylock who I'm almost positive is a demon from hell sent to watch over Damien.
@@nickgianesin5254 Quite possible too! That governor, Hochul in New York City gives me STRONG Mrs. Baylock vibes.
Well this nanny is no Holly Palance, and the photographer is no David Warner. The original was the best by far.
Why are they so freaked out by that ? Haven’t they ever seen a nanny off herself before ?
instead of using creativity Hollywood just remakes classics
first he’s accused of being a murderer, now his adopted son is the son of the devil.. man, cotton weary just can’t get a break

My friend name is Damien. He says hearing his name makes him feel weird during this scene 😝
Why do they feel the need to improve on perfection?.....oh yeah, MONEY!

Perhaps they want to take their children away
Worst birthday ever
Damien: Best birthday ever 😈🔥👹
Yeah, totally useless. Nothing to run from. Its not like she is going to go after them hanging around...
ahhh so damian dad is victor. figures
Some actors don’t care to be in horror films these days
Was this movie literally just a shot for shot remake?
Yes this movie a shot for Remake 1976.
2:01 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Bad remake, especially the ridiculous casting!
Why would eberyone statt screaming snd running like that tho
Esta version fuen verdadera porquería, NINGUNA SE VA A IGUALAR A LA LA PRIMERA CON GREGORY PECK
Agree with you. That one was exceptionally creepy.
Wats with all the remakes they r not needed
Why did she kill herself ?
The dog...a vessel of the devil. Possessed here to do so.
The dog is Padfoot and he escaped Azkaban. It's his warlock powers.
Creating a vacancy for Mrs Baylock...
Wait this is the remake? Carry me out
Came here to figure out a lil peep sample
Processed cheese
Why do they even bother.
i hate remakes, so unnecessary.
Look at young Trump 🤣🤣🤣
Great film

Lol why does it feel like the movie is ashy all the dull colors smh 😂😂😂
