I think you're probably pretty close but its a little more specific. Evil angel is a metaphor for substance, most of their songs are about this. Dont leave me to die here help me survive here... escapism. Check out away... think about it in this way, you'll understand better.

Breaking Benjamin's drummer is WAY underrated. I always tell my friend who is a drummer to listen to this song to get him inspired. Just listen the drums, they are awesome!
