      thanks, the pike from here are fantastic colours, i think it's down to the clear water.

    They're buggers for dropping baits are little jacks.I think they do it just to be annoying.

      It's happened to me a lot this winter, probably me striking to early, but i would rather them drop it than deep hook them.

      @@hullebikerfishing Little jacks seem to wander about a bit with the bait across their mouth. Not a lot you can do really.

      yes i have found that as well, but i just makes me want to fish for them more! plenty of action makes a good day in my book.@@jorvikangler

      @@hullebikerfishing If fish are taking baits it does spur you on and want to land one or two.
