Sometimes not being able to lose weight is because things aren't working correctly in our bodies and sometimes those issues require medication. Not necessarily weight loss drugs, but medicine that helps it function correctly that also happen to assist us in losing weight. And public figure or not, no one should have to share any of this information.

I used to run and lift and hold down 3 jobs while being a single mom and going to school full time. I was physically active and ate clean and still the blood sugars and my weight continued to rise. Previous diabetic medications hadn’t helped me and came with nasty side effects. For one, Metformin, which is the most common drug for pre-diabetes, made me start having short term memory loss. I was panicked thinking I was developing early Alzheimer’s. So these GLP-1 drugs have been life saving literally for me and hundreds of thousands of other average people.
