Lived on BFV with my family from 69-72. My father ran the officers club back then. What a wonderful childhood to experience Germany back in the day. So many memories to have. Few kids get to grow up that way. Priceless.
I visited this place again and will ppl told be now are Ukrainian and other lands are living there now in Benjamin frenklin But it was cool days before and from those houses are no more to many like the destroyed to much from the old houses and now other lands live in those last old houses
I lived at 275 Further strasse just in front of the PX area across from the Top Hat club from '94 to '96. Senior quarters But it looks like it's no longer there. My best duty station in 20 years. Loved it.
Great video, brings back good memories. It looks great. I lived in Mannheim and Heidelberg from '86-'04. We were told in the 90s they were going to close bases in the area. We civilians were like, yeah right. I used to live behind the PX and Popeyes. Thanks again.
