Ogun went to search for her but stopped at orunmila's house and did ebbo. He found her. Wrapped her in chains. Took her to a cave, made her his woman. And, she thank him for helping her remember who she was. As an act of remembrance that she lived in that snowy land, her clothing and crown resembles that land. Over simplified.
