I love Addy. I just purchased a new dress for her from Etsy. The dress is similar to an illustration in Meet Addy. Kirsten is beautiful too. Seeing Addy and Kirsten in their original meet outfits brings back so many beautiful memories of Pleasant Company.
Love the Love Shack dress and shoes, it is so pretty. Adore that denim outfit of Julie’s, it is fabulous. I’d love to have that as well. Oh wow,I love the mini Molly, how cute is that for Courtney?! Good choice in getting Addy and Kirsten, I would have loved to have gotten an Anniversary Kirsten. 😊

Nice haul. I missed out on the anniversary historicals but I've heard they might be bringing back more of them like they did with Molly and some of her collection. I hope so. I had a Meet Addy book when I was young but no dolls. I like how Kourtney's doll comes with an old catalog too, such a great detail.

35th Anniversary Addy's eyes appear more round while Beforever Addy has more oblong/oval shapes. That was the biggest thing I noticed about the eyes (after that, her brows and lip color are more defined.) Glad you were able to get Addy! Like you I didn't have an AG doll growing up and my first was 35th Anniversary Kirsten. I really enjoy her (Addy was my other choice but I chose Kirsten in the end, simply because she doesn't have a Beforever doll and she had been gone for so long.) Kirsten's accessories are a spoon bag and her necklace is amber, given to her by her grandmother I think.

The box displayed at 8.12 has something strange: ok, is a mini A.G: doll, but if the doll inside the box (and displayed in the outside picture) is Molly, why the written name on the box is Courtney, which, as I know, is neither a Pleasant's character? I really don't understand. About your "little Gia" at 2.16, is cute, but I find the American Girls another world, overall for the face, which gives them another sweetness and makes them more realistic: I like very much your Kirsten, for me one of the cutiest A.G. characters with Samantha, Molly and Rebecca.
It says Courtney because the mini Molly doll is supposed to be like a real AG doll for the actual Courtney doll. Since she is situated in the 1980s she could have gotten an American girl doll for Christmas so I think that is why it is packaged like that :-). Yes, I think some people do not like the Karito Kids faces as much as American Girl faces. At first I did not like them as much, but now I really like them :-)

Sorry if I, as italian, still can't completely understand the wonderful world of the A.G. doll, but I really love them; I already own Samantha and Rebecca (two real angels) and going to have Molly; maybe Kirsten will be the next. I know that exist dolls similar to the A.G., but for a european buyer as me, who has to pay a lot for the shipping, purchase a cheaper but worse item is not convenient; as proverb of ours says: better few, but good.
