To clarify this is earlier in batmans career, you can tell because rat-catcher was an easter egg in asylum meaning batman had taken care of him at the time, and his suit has origins vibes.
If I had to guess just randomly, complete shot in the dark, I’d say this is set about year 5, origins being set in year 2 and asylum being set in year 11

@@StormBomber Meta said they aren’t stopping support for Meta Quest 2 for like 3 years after the Meta Quest 3 was released, they haven’t made Quest 3 exclusives yet. Any current game footage will always be from Quest 3 because it’s the highest quality VR of their variant, as will advertising be for that system due to the fact that it’s the current one.

@@Vortex0368 PC costs way more than VR, 500 for Meta Quest 3 (same as a PS5) and 150 for Meta Quest 2 (On EBay, which is cheaper than a Nintendo Switch.) I mean, I get it…I have a PS5, I would much prefer it be a PlayStation game if I’m not kidding myself, but I’m glad VR is getting attention. Plus, Meta probably payed WB to make this game like they did with Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed VR.

@@christianplays5318 Wrong. Multiple people didn't play PS5 exclusives because nobody spends so much money to play 1 game that you'll probably play once and never touch a game. The same is happening right now, also, currencies are far different. 150 USD is the equivalent of 700 Romanian money. No way I'm spending 700 dollars for a game that's probably 2 hours long at best.

Pretty simple, as Meta did with Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed, Meta payed WB Games to make a Batman Arkham VR game exclusive to Meta Quest.
VR could be cool if it’s better then the last one they’d did.

@@MilesMoralesEarth-1610 I’m glad it’s not on PlayStation, because then it would be a PlayStation exclusive and you’d have to pay 1,000 USD just to play a VR game about Batman. (I have a PS5, so this isn’t a headset bias. Also, the 1,000 wouldn’t be for the game, I mean 1,000 USD for the headset and console, plus however much the game costs.)

I hope if it ends up on desktop or console, it’s actually good, but desktop and console ports of vr games are never that great. They might work fine, but they’ll never be as good as the vr version just because it wasn’t built to not be played in vr.

Hell they already began phasing out Quest 2 for new releases. Take a look at the new Alien game for Example, Quest 2 is nowhere to be found only says "PC, Quest 3 and PlayStationVR"
It's really sad to see that they already began pulling the plug to Quest 2's game support... 🥲

Geez…why is everyone so upset about it being VR? People shelled out $500 USD to be able to play Marvel’s Spider-man 2 on the PS5. Plus, a Meta Quest 2 is 150 USD if you look on EBay, it’s really not an expensive buy compared to a PC, a console, even a Nintendo Switch.

Bro…it’s just 150 USD, at least it’s not the price of a PC or a PSVR where you have to buy both the console and the VR which would cost 1,000 dollars. The newest one is 500 USD which is the price of a PS5. I get that some people don’t like VR, but…treat it like Marvel’s Spider-man 2, people don’t hate on it just because it is a PS5 exclusive, just like they didn’t with the PS4 one when it wasn’t on PC for 4 years, etc etc.

@@SirFunky In their defence, they’re probably going to release it to other things if it sells well enough. Meta had an Assassin’s Creed VR game and didn’t put it onto other things because it didn’t sell well enough. Perhaps if this game does then they will. (Also, Meta probably payed WB to let them do this as a way to sell more headsets or at least have their first ever Quest 3 exclusive game be a cool one. Really hoping it goes to the Quest 2 as well though, I’d hate to leave people out.)

@@SirFunky The Quest 3 hasn’t had actual graphical capability tests because everything has been put on both Quest 2 and 3, we don’t know what it will look like. Also, I like that it’s a game that won’t require a 900+ dollar PC and a 600+ dollar headset. This would be the first Quest 3 exclusive. Plus, pretty sure it’s a money thing. They want to sell more headsets. (By the way, I’m just going to give your comments a thumbs up to show I don’t mean to be offensive and if I am at all I’m sorry.)
