The sad part is that this game would've been good if the level designers from Sonic Generations and colors were designing them. Scratch that, it didn't even need that. It just needed longer levels.
thebahooplamaster Hmhm Well I don’t think generations holds up as well tbh. Also colors sucks. I know I’m in the minority but I really don’t care. I also like unleashed bite me.
OmegaReconGaming I've only played colors and unleashed. I loved both games and just make the assumption generations is great as well, because of popular belief.
I think people misread Caddy's question. He wasn't asking how classic made it to Modern's world, but why he was put into the game. Classic Sonic really had no meaning to the plot of the story. Removing him wouldn't change the story at all really. It was just a means to add a character to cater to the classic crowd. Which I ask why when we have Mania? :p
Sonic Forces wasn't terrible, nor was it good. It was perhaps the worst thing a game can be: boring. A good game can keep you addicted for hours and hours, even a glitch filled nightmare can provide amusement for a while just by virtue of how awful it is. Sonic Forces is neither of these. Instead it's just a bland, boring game that in a few years only die hard fans will remember. It's not as fast as Generations, the levels aren't as wacky as Mania, the story takes itself too seriously with very little wit, classic Sonic is tacked on because Sonic Team think that'll attract the classic fans, and the controls aren't fun to use. Overall, this game is so underwhelming that the hardest thing to do in it is trying not to fall asleep. SONIC FORCES YOU TO SLEEP
Michael Hill this was a good game I don't know what you talking about Sonic Boom that was a bad Sonic game that is guaranteed but I enjoyed this game not my favorite Sonic game I enjoyed it my favorite Sonic game will always be Sonic Heroes
+rayshawn howard It's ok to like bad games. I liked Crash Twinsanity, despite how tragically unfinished that game was. But most people who played Sonic Forces said that it was mediocre at best, myself included. It's that bland mediocrity that just makes it such a painful game to play. Every time I played it all I could think of was, "I really want to play Generations", because the levels were so much more creative and ambitious, the camera changes, multiple pathways, better movement tech and momentum. However, like I said, I enjoy many bad games but I can still see that they're not very good.
Sonic Team needs to stop making the guy the helped with the level design of Sonic Unleashed (who was the director of Sonic Generations) direct the "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games" series and bring back everyone who worked on Sonic Generations for the next game because they need to make a good 3D Sonic game since the last good 3D Sonic game was Generations.
Pretty much everyone who worked on Generations, worked on Unleashed. Except, Unleashed had a bigger team and a higher budget. Unleashed has the best modern Sonic levels in the Boost games. They're not too short, not too long and the stages blend speed and platforming way better than the other boost games. Generations included.
I'd argue Unleashed was a good first attempt but Generations is the high point of the boost formula thanks to all the alternate paths and not being too long.
Not to mention that it's really easy to fail platforming in Unleashed. Once you're in the air, you're pretty much dedicated to it, and jumps love to fail abruptly. Even when on the ground, you have to try not to move too quickly, or you'll end up missing something you shouldn't. It doesn't help that you only have so many lives in Unleashed.
I think the worst part about this game is it only had 3 level designers 2 of which have never worked on a sonic game before and the other only working on sonic lost world. great job sega
Dogzilla Yeah... I don't like making my own character in any game, usually I just try to make my character look as much like my favourite official character, DB Xenoverse 1 and 2 I made them look just like Piccolo and 18, and sure enough I'm sure I'll do the same with this game, actually scratch that I enjoyed making my own character in South Park TSOT/TFBW but that's because for some reason they felt like they really fit into the world of South Park even having parents and actual good ties into the story and dialogue, where as most of the time custom characters are just there randomly forced into the action next to the main characters and are just not interesting.
RiderNexus the soullessness is the most disheartening component for me. If you looked at Sonic Generations or Colors, or even traditionally mediocre titles like Lost World and Unleashed, you can see the care put into them. Those titles ooze personality and detail. In Sonic Forces, it's almost completely absent. Enemies in the Boost sections just stand there, nearly all level assets were recycled... Sonic doesn't even have an idle animation in Forces. Where was the love? Are they just tired of doing this for 27 years?
Bob McCabe Actually the idle animation is when he's skydiving and you don't touch anything, like the one in Lost World. It also carries over to the Avatar and Shadow
darkrage6 opinions are subject to interpretation and cannot be absolute, so while I'm glad you enjoyed to the game, my opinion still stands. However, I will say that levels that take place in Green Hill, Chemical Plant, the City, and the Death Egg reuse a lot of assets from Sonic Generations (namely from that title's own Green Hill, Chemical Plant, City Escape, and Final Rush, respectively), and that Green Hill's desert components and Mystic Jungle are ripped from Sonic Lost World (namely from Desert Ruins and Silent Forest, respectively).
I was hoping for Infinite to be a by product of the business with the Time Eater in Generations which is why he could outfight Sonic - he has the memories of EVERY fight with Eggman/apocalyptic monster and thus could replicate past friends/foes such as Chaos and Shadow.
I remember hearing rumors that Mephiles the Dark actually survives the 06 erasing, despite 06 not being the best game in the world Mephiles was not really a bad villain, I mean he still holds the title of being the only person so far that has killed Sonic

I'm saying this. I actually enjoyed the game but felt that it needed MORE. But to be honest, it's not the worst Sonic game, it just... needs more. And I thought the levels in Sonic Colors were short...
The "game plays itself" issue is what I don't like about Modern Sonic. I dunno if there's something inherently wrong with the boost formula or Hedgehog engine, but the end point looks the same. Other than that I really have no issues with the game, aside of Denuvo, which is more because Sega business team is insane not because of the design. I really hope that for the next game they'll hire people behind Sonic Utopia. Or they'll return to Adventure gameplay.
QVear The physics and controls in Utopia are fantastic, but outside of that, the game doesn't have enough to really justify hiring them. The level design is far too open with basically no obstacle give or take a few areas, and the visuals... I won't blame because it's fanmade, but still.
Aside from the story, the stage design and even the confusing boss choices, my biggest issue with the game is that it feels like a massive step down from previous games that did the same thing. By itself, it's extremely mediocre, as a sequel to games like unleashed and genrations, it's beyond inexcusable. It's baffling how clunky the controls are in comparison.

They can't market Blaze like Classic Sonic. That's why! But yeah, nice to see I'm not the only one who noticed Classic Sonic has basically become the new Blaze.
Can't wait for all the comments saying "Sonic was never good" or "Sonic is a dead franchise" just because Forces is mediocre, despite games like, I don't know, Sonic Mania, Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors or even the recent spin off racing games being pretty good if not great... That's going to be fun...
Sonic mania was made by fans and those other games were long ago made and now were taking shit like boom and lost worlds and now this. Just mediocre garbage
Remember when Crash Bandicoot got a long stream of mediocre and terrible games? No one goes "Crash was never good" because Mind over Mutant or Boom Bang existed.
I’m somewhat the same; I love the game, but at the same time, I’m not saying it’s the best Sonic nor am I saying it’s the worst. In fact, the only thing I have a problem with is the fact that you can’t really get a game over. The closest thing to a game over is just failing the SOS missions.
The one thing I enjoyed about this is that everything in the game is available to you straight up. you want this shirt for you character, cool this is how you unlock it, no loot boxes, no drop rate, just this is how you unlock it. I miss that in games.
Sonic Forces might be the Sonic 06 of the boost formula. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Forces is as terrible as 06, but it's quite equivalent to wat Sonic 06 was to Sonic Adventure : trying do do what they did right in the past, only to fall flat on their face. Seeing how poorly this game seems to do in terms of review and sales , I'm pretty sure Force is going to be the end of the Boost Formula, the same way 06 was to the Adventure one.
Neonman 1230 It's comparable in terms of its potential impact on the franchise. Obviously it's not anywhere near as bad as 06 was, but with the reception it's had, it could very well kill the boost formula altogether.
"Seeing how poorly this game seems to do in terms of review and sales , I'm pretty sure Force is going to be the end of the Boost Formula, the same way 06 was to the Adventure one" Fuck, I hope so, I never once enjoyed this formula.
You’re crazy and blind. 06 did a decent job and not as all bad. Well let’s not forget that story moved in there was very sick, even the true villain in 06 is way darker and serious for world domination, even though no one is controlling him. For infinite however, he’s not that dark. In fact everything about forces is pathetic and did a very crappy poor job and copied The same thing from colors and lost world
@@truearea53 I do agree that 06 exceed Forces in some aspects like the story and stages, however that wasn't the point. The point is : both were poorly made, rushed games. And once the Sonic Team was confronted with their own failure, they shifted the blamed on "the formula being outdated." That's what killed Adventure-like Sonic games, and I expect it will now kill the Boost Formula as well.
I'm SO GLAD you're not biased with Mania. Everyone reviewing has just been like "Oh mania did this..." "Oh Mania did that.." I'm glad you actually realized it's decent, even if it's not the most perfect game.
I get it, Mania is better than Forces, but jesus, they're 2 different games, give this game a break, and also I honestly feel bad about this game, getting developed wrong, then getting the huge negative criticism. I really don't like it when this game that's had 2 or 3 level designers gets compared to Odyssey and Mania, jesus. Mania > Forces Mania = Forces' Potential
Wither Dracos You're a fucking idiot. If Sonic Forces had the same potential, yet didn't live up to that potential then that's obviously the fault of the people making the game for being dumbasses
I would personally give sonic forces a 7/10 because I find the fun parts very rewarding and I don't find much of this game "unfun". But for anyone who doesent like this game, that's fine, you find it not that fun to play and thats fine because I also have some of the same complaints with this game as well.
Satisfied with your review and you did not disappoint; it is exactly *everything* I imagined - without having played even a single second of the game... now how LAME is that, hmmm SEGA!? Next question, when are we getting SONIC MANIA 2?? :]
I feel like Sonic Generations is a better game. Although Forces' beginning and original villain are better, I feel like Generations did a better job in every over department. The avatar was a cool concept, but I wish it was better in execution. Forces is just an average game, and that's odd to say for a SONIC game. I haven't played Mania, though I do own it.
I'm shocked to hear you liked the classic music and not the rest I thought the classic music was awful in this game and I loved alot of the other tracks in this game like fist bump and infinites theme but ofcourse we all have our opinions. :)
I could see why he found some of the themes "whiny" hell Infinite's theme is pretty much all teenage angst (although I still kind of love it for how cheesy it is)
Caddy, If you loved cd and the other Genesis games, get mania. It's probably one of my favorite platformers of this year, and if you've played all the Genesis games in full before playing this you'll appreciate it a lot more, seriously. Go for it man
Yea, one guy even said that playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 made him regret buying Sonic Forces Now I may not like Xenoblade 2 that much, but it’s LOADS better than Forces
I was overhyped once, until there were tons of errors with the game When I first played it, and then grew very disappointed and board with it after passing the final level
Could've really used another year to make the story better and polish the gameplay a bit more, the whole freedom fighter resistance thing was one of the big stories in the comics that had way more events and consequences there, but in this game it's almost like a regular enemy, also the main bad guy's powers are all illusion based! there's a couple lines saying his gem just tricks you into thinking the attacks are real so much you actually get hurt by them, also the whole resistance is full of characters way more able than your OC, many who have their own games or prominent parts in other games like Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, the whole Chaotix team, they should have been able to do loads without Sonic but _nope_ not only does Sonic immediately free himself but he also rescues your OC who is really competent in-game but is a quivering coward in half the cutscenes There's alot they could have done to make this better
Loved this review !!! He's not too keen on Sonic games, but this review just felt really honest and fair. The game has clunky controls and feels rushed in development for the Christmas Seasons Sales and it lets it down. I like Forces, but it's a very average game and levels are just too short. The game is fun for big Sonic fans and experimenting with the OC Creator, buut there's just too many flaws breaking it down. Compared to Mario Odyssey and Mania it's just embarrassing. Caddy was completely honest with this review * stereotype Brit accent * jolly fucking fantastic.
yknow youre the first person to give an honest down the middle response to this game, gosh ive heard nothing but bad rinsed and repeated but youre review on how your experiance went made me feel a little bit more positive about the game. i would hopefully like to grab this one day but until its like 10 dollars that aint happening.
I'd like to see you talk about the adventure games, a lot of fans consider those the pinnacle for story telling in this series (at least where the games are concerned, there's a lot of multimedia that also has some pretty good stories if you're into action-adventure as a genre.)
Wow it’s nice to have a review that doesn’t complain about Green Hill Zone being recycled as well as liking Classic Sonics music over the vocal tracks, as most people just say how classic Sonics music sounds like “Genesis Farts”. Overall I think it was a pretty solid review but I have one question.. Why no slaughter/salvage?
Hey Caddy! I covered this on BitPOP and I totally agree with you on everything. The game was seriously meh but I think the music was the redeeming factor for sure. The instrumentals were great and the artists who sang also have good credits but all in all it was very blah :p
The Cutehog Team It still doesn't explain how he supposedly came from another dimension or why he was time-traveled in generations but not here? There's no real explanation for things. Also, Mania has nothing to do with Forces.
Miss Tokyo Fun Yes it does...? If you get the good ending as Sonic, he goes through the portal and does the trailer pose. Still doesn’t contribute to the plot though.
The Cutehog Team also i shouldnt need to play past games to understand a standalone game. If a lot of games did that then you couldnt complain about the story which is totally wrong.if they make you play another game to understand some plot on another thats bad story writing
Thanks caddy was looking for a review video and who better to go to than the caddicarus show? Before I watch this I'm just gonna say I am maybe going to get this game because I saw that you could create your own character, something I always love.
The soundtrack of this game is one of the weakest in the series. It's not all bad, but as a whole, it doesn't compare to the music from the past games.
Tyler Adase especially when you compare the Classic Sonic stages' music to Mania. Sure, I'm glad Caddy something in the Genesis style music than many other people didn't, but it is no contest when you put it up to Mania's amazing soundtrack!
+ThatOneGuitarGuy 98 I don’t see what’s so bad about cheesy music. Sonic games in the past had cheesy music: Sonic Heroes vocal tracks, SA2 Knuckles raps, some parts of His World, Endless Possibilities, etc, etc. Plus, those were all good songs, and I liked Fist Bump, and Infinite’s theme.
But I love cheesy songs, they're what makes the soundtracks of Sonic games good. I don't think this has one of the weakest soundtracks though, that tile goes to Sonic Boom and Sonic Chronicles.
I would argue that the SOS missions actually do have a punishing aspect to them in that if you fail them you don't get any second chances and have to wait for another one to trigger witch can be very annoying when trying to complete the missions that require you to do x amount of SOS missions
Sonic Forces (in my opinion) was a good game, with a solid story and the same likeable characters as always, with unfortunately meh controls and three or four fucking level designers.
Kind of wish that this was a Caddicarus episode. Well, we all know that it would get the slaugh-vage cuz, at this point, everybody agrees with the mixed reviews including me
The best part of this game seems to be the Grumps playthrough. Graphically it looks beautiful. I do love the songs too, infinite and Fist Bump are my favourites. I love butt rock though so 😂
"The bosses are the highlight of the game". The final boss is the same from Sonic Colors but instead to be purple it is white
James Plata He also gave the Evil Within 2 a 8/10 and said some sections of it were "masterful". What were you expecting?
He once called Knack a good game and gave it a 7/10. What a fool, it should've been a 10/5 because Knack is a KNACKSTAPIECE
+Lelouch Vi Britannia Yeah and the majority of major game critics also gave it 7-8's so I don't see what you're going for at all...

But yeah, nice to see I'm not the only one who noticed Classic Sonic has basically become the new Blaze.
"MINE"
Sega works in a mine now?
gotta go fast lmao
Lugbzurg huh?
you caint touch dis remember in *cough sonic 06 blaze dies in slivers story so why bring a DEAD character back.
Sonic and Pippa Peg: The Quest For GENUINE PEPPA PIG FLESH!
SociallyAwkwardTrash SEGA SHOULD HIRE YOU YOU ARE A GENIUS
Can't wait for all the comments saying "Sonic was never good" or "Sonic is a dead franchise" just because Forces is mediocre, despite games like, I don't know, Sonic Mania, Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors or even the recent spin off racing games being pretty good if not great... That's going to be fun...
you forgot of ''sonic forces you to...'' jokes
Sonic mania was made by fans and those other games were long ago made and now were taking shit like boom and lost worlds and now this. Just mediocre garbage
Remember when Crash Bandicoot got a long stream of mediocre and terrible games? No one goes "Crash was never good" because Mind over Mutant or Boom Bang existed.
TheJediSonic I heard crash purple was bad too
I’m somewhat the same; I love the game, but at the same time, I’m not saying it’s the best Sonic nor am I saying it’s the worst.
For someone who doesn't like Sonic games, Caddy is much more forgiving to this than most are.
My god, Caddicarus, you always go for the shadiest sponsors.
Yep, that's how it goes. Sega has a nasty habit of learning the wrong lessons from their failures.
Neonman 1230 It's comparable in terms of its potential impact on the franchise. Obviously it's not anywhere near as bad as 06 was, but with the reception it's had, it could very well kill the boost formula altogether.
"Seeing how poorly this game seems to do in terms of review and sales , I'm pretty sure Force is going to be the end of the Boost Formula, the same way 06 was to the Adventure one"
Fuck, I hope so, I never once enjoyed this formula.
And once the Sonic Team was confronted with their own failure, they shifted the blamed on "the formula being outdated."
That's what killed Adventure-like Sonic games, and I expect it will now kill the Boost Formula as well.
I'm SO GLAD you're not biased with Mania. Everyone reviewing has just been like "Oh mania did this..." "Oh Mania did that.." I'm glad you actually realized it's decent, even if it's not the most perfect game.
So many Sonic Forces reviews that it forces me to watch them all.
Thanks for the sponsor Caddy! Really helps 👍❤️
Mania > Forces
I get it, Mania is better than Forces, but jesus, they're 2 different games, give this game a break, and also I honestly feel bad about this game, getting developed wrong, then getting the huge negative criticism. I really don't like it when this game that's had 2 or 3 level designers gets compared to Odyssey and Mania, jesus.
Mania > Forces
Mania = Forces' Potential
Stating The Obvious award goes to YOU.
-Most Obvious Statement 2017-
JC7146 if sonic forces had the same potential as sonic mania then why isn't it as good? idiot
daddy cringe
You don't get it. He meant
Mania's quality = Forces' Potential
As in, how good Mania was was how Forces could've been.
Wither Dracos You're a fucking idiot. If Sonic Forces had the same potential, yet didn't live up to that potential then that's obviously the fault of the people making the game for being dumbasses
"You're favorite characters," my favorite characters are Cream and Blaze...
That's because it is a better game.
Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces is one big story connected to each other by a MacGuffin known as the Phantom Ruby.
I'm shocked to hear you liked the classic music and not the rest I thought the classic music was awful in this game and I loved alot of the other tracks in this game like fist bump and infinites theme but ofcourse we all have our opinions. :)
I could see why he found some of the themes "whiny" hell Infinite's theme is pretty much all teenage angst (although I still kind of love it for how cheesy it is)
Corey Neville I liked mainly moderns songs and some of the avatar songs but overall the ost felt disappointing
Yeah, the edgy Linkin park style music was better than the generic faux 16 bit tracks.
"Sonic dies in the first 5 minutes and his billion friends grief" Fanfic alert!
None of this is good, Caddy. That's why its called "Sonic Forces"
Sonic Forces: This is why "its not that bad" shouldnt be the standard for Modern Sonic
Caddy, If you loved cd and the other Genesis games, get mania. It's probably one of my favorite platformers of this year, and if you've played all the Genesis games in full before playing this you'll appreciate it a lot more, seriously. Go for it man
this game was too overhyped in my opinion.
Yeah your right, I still believe that they could have done better and not keep classic because we already have Mania.
Just a bit. And by that I mean yeah it was.
Yea, one guy even said that playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 made him regret buying Sonic Forces
Now I may not like Xenoblade 2 that much, but it’s LOADS better than Forces
I was overhyped once, until there were tons of errors with the game When I first played it, and then grew very disappointed and board with it after passing the final level
Bro the title to this video is one of the best in history for real.
Sonic Forces you to lose faith in SEGA more than ever.
BUT THEY JUST HAVE TO GIVE YOU A STUPID COPY OF SONIC 1 AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY RIGHT???
FinnFin C4D Animations Sonic 3, dude. Sonic 1 doesn't even have spin dashing.
Jason Voorhees That just means they're better, doesn't mean they're good.
Hearing you talk it’s worse than 06 and boom
your spoiler warning is the best thing ever
It feels like they tried to make the comics into a game and completely misunderstood what made the tone of them right
I like seeing differing opinions regarding this game. Its pretty interesting
Could've really used another year to make the story better and polish the gameplay a bit more, the whole freedom fighter resistance thing was one of the big stories in the comics that had way more events and consequences there, but in this game it's almost like a regular enemy, also the main bad guy's powers are all illusion based! there's a couple lines saying his gem just tricks you into thinking the attacks are real so much you actually get hurt by them, also the whole resistance is full of characters way more able than your OC, many who have their own games or prominent parts in other games like Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, the whole Chaotix team, they should have been able to do loads without Sonic but _nope_ not only does Sonic immediately free himself but he also rescues your OC who is really competent in-game but is a quivering coward in half the cutscenes
There's alot they could have done to make this better
YAY CADDICARUS VIDEO!!
Cant wait to see it!
Game is to easy
*HARD MODE MY ASS*
Man, after seeing the text of who the modes were meant for, you could just see it coming. But OMG who was this game made for? Game Grumps?
I tried both. No difference
The only difference is that in hard mode you can get more than 100 rings in one level which is completely worthless.
Top boost games
1)Unleashed
2)Rush
4)Forces
5)Colors
EDIT: 3 )Generations
I'll never understand why they "killed" Sonic only to bring him back about 2 missions later. It was just so...pointless.
You know, it IS my birthday today....so thank you. xD
Kemanh200 Haha
yknow youre the first person to give an honest down the middle response to this game, gosh ive heard nothing but bad rinsed and repeated but youre review on how your experiance went made me feel a little bit more positive about the game. i would hopefully like to grab this one day but until its like 10 dollars that aint happening.
sonic forces you to choke on his smelly chilidog
fuck off trap shill
3:41 enemies be like: -oh no there comes the condom!
Wearing crocs.
DAMMN YOU CROCS!!
Sonic forces you to go back to super mario odyssey
Ikr, it's more fun, lol.
Tbh i like Caddi's videos before i even watch them, just because I like the guy.
Yeah, anywhere from 4-7 seems fair for this game--MAYBE 8 if you're feeling generous.
Great review Caddy, I appreciate you being fair in your critique and not hating a Sonic game because it's the cool thing to do. :L
No Blaze the Cat really? U bring almost every character except Blaze?
MysteriousMrM No one gives a shit about herpes the cat and her firey fist of aids
Big is the best character.
MysteriousMrM or cream...big and his stupid frog is also gone...ray the flying squirel...mighty the armadilo...fang the snipe etc.
They even brought Silver back, if you're going to drag 06 characters into this game then WHY NOT BLAZE THE CAT
silverbrumbyfan Because sonic rush made it not possible due to it made it cannon she from another dimension which she can rarely leave
I'd like to see you talk about the adventure games, a lot of fans consider those the pinnacle for story telling in this series (at least where the games are concerned, there's a lot of multimedia that also has some pretty good stories if you're into action-adventure as a genre.)
Sonic Forces me to be in the minority that enjoys his game
Wow it’s nice to have a review that doesn’t complain about Green Hill Zone being recycled as well as liking Classic Sonics music over the vocal tracks, as most people just say how classic Sonics music sounds like “Genesis Farts”. Overall I think it was a pretty solid review but I have one question.. Why no slaughter/salvage?
Sonic Forces me to rehab
I really love heroine
Daduk?
toilet fuck
Hey Caddy! I covered this on BitPOP and I totally agree with you on everything. The game was seriously meh but I think the music was the redeeming factor for sure. The instrumentals were great and the artists who sang also have good credits but all in all it was very blah :p
You would understand why Classic Sonic is here when you play Mania. He still doesn’t contribute to the plot.
+Miss Tokyo Fun Mania actually does have to do with donic forces as it is what happened before sonic forces
Forces you to play Sonic Mania and enjoy an actually good Sonic game. GO PLAY IT RIGHT NOW
Couldn't agree more Caddy!
Should've made your OC, Toilet Duck.
The best sonic OC creator!
Can't play as Blaze or Vector, 0/10
are you going to ever do more retrospectives thats literally the only reason I subbed tbh
Don't worry Caddy. Sonic Mania will be a much better experience when you get to it.
I’m sorry, Caddicarus, but I completely lost it over your OC Terry the Bird 😂😂😂
The soundtrack of this game is one of the weakest in the series. It's not all bad, but as a whole, it doesn't compare to the music from the past games.
Tyler Adase especially when you compare the Classic Sonic stages' music to Mania. Sure, I'm glad Caddy something in the Genesis style music than many other people didn't, but it is no contest when you put it up to Mania's amazing soundtrack!
It's a mixed bag. There are still a few really strong tracks, especially near the end.
ThatOneGuitarGuy 98 dark souls and great epic choirs and orchestras with great composers, sonic forces has bad cheesy songs , totally the same
+ThatOneGuitarGuy 98 I don’t see what’s so bad about cheesy music.
The reason why Classic Sonic is here is because Forces is apparently connected to Mania.
Didn't Sega say Mania was an illusion made by the expostion crystal ruby shit thing?
@@abyssmo8692 Then what's with Sonic Mania Adventures?!
It explains how classic sonic got there in mania (even though they should have just used that plot to bring him to other levels in mania 2)
Sonic Forces you to buy Mania instead
That title made me chuckle more than it should have.
Seriously just do yourself a favor and play Mania, you won't regret it.
+Caddicarus, you're alroight lad.
Okay,
noice.
Sonic Forces (in my opinion) was a good game, with a solid story and the same likeable characters as always, with unfortunately meh controls and three or four fucking level designers.
Kind of wish that this was a Caddicarus episode. Well, we all know that it would get the slaugh-vage cuz, at this point, everybody agrees with the mixed reviews including me
once I saw the ocs I lost interest immediately.
Ademola Adekiya It feels like an in-joke, or complete pandering to basement dwelling fanfic writing chronic masturbators.
Gud, I don't think you are particularly interesting to Sonic Team anyways.
Ademola Adekiya boohoo😡😂
I would have preferred it if the OCs got one of three playstyles similar to what Heroes did (Speed, Power, Fly) instead of the gadget gimmick
Sonic Forces me to say that everybody online uses those creepy eyes for everything
Sonic Forces you to play Sonic Mania
The best part of this game seems to be the Grumps playthrough. Graphically it looks beautiful. I do love the songs too, infinite and Fist Bump are my favourites. I love butt rock though so 😂
Sonic Forces you to buy a better game.
Sonic Forces Me To Go Through A Story That Takes Itself Too Seriously
The thing is, Sonic has already run his course *Shut up* and they're just beating a dead... Hedgehog at this point.
The reason Sega's even trying new things, if you ask me I'd love to see Fleetway thrown into the games to give Sonic a Jekyll & Hyde dynamic
The story seems like a fanfic
