I remain a fan of you winecasts, and am grateful for all the info you pack into them. Wiah you were still creating new ones. Thank you for your help in understanding the grapes, the wine, the regions, and the history. Shine on!

I recommend the Semillon from Kalin Cellars, the Livermore Valley: Central Coast IG California. They age, work beautifully with foods (spicy). PS: they also age beautifully! Thanks

Thanks for the heads up! I am looking to try more styles of this grape.
I recommend Eldertons Golden Semillion and Botrytis wines. They are much cheaper then Sauternes but still very good IMO. Edit: I also feel Eldertons Golden Semillion is better then cheap Barsac Sauternes for the same price I have had.

Great video! There's a winery here in the Livermore valley in the SF bay area called Fenestra that does a Semonnay (Semillon and Chardonnay). I forget what the exact ratio of each varietal is but they do a good job with it!

That sounds terrific. I don't get down to the Bay Area as much as I'd like, but thanks for the heads up about this winery. I'd love to check their wine out. Cheers!

Oh heey! Loving the videos! Is there any chance of doing something on Italian bubbles such as Franciacorta, Prosecco, Asti and Lambrusco?!🤓
An episode per region would be fantastic! Oh, and if you could do them before June, that would be great!!
    Keep up the great work!😘

I've covered Prosecco in the Veneto cast and Asti in the Piedmont cast, and I'll probably cover the other two in the (anticipated) casts on Lombardia and Emilia-Romagna. I'm unlikely to do dedicated casts to any of them, since I don't focus on producers, and I can fold the relevant information into a larger regional cast. Thanks and cheers!
