life is absolutely too short...here the high-grade Big Youth young and feels like it was yesterday. just think of all the reggae greats, most of them dead!!! do you feel as sad as me? and, what has happened to great original ROOTS REGGAE??? tell me please...have all ppl forgotten the real National Treasure of Jamaica??? lots of talent on one small island, isn't it?

I totally agree with you man! My first 7"-singel I buyed 1964 was Milli Small/"My Boy Lollipop" and with that bluebeat song was my road built... In the 70-ties was the greatest decade in every way... The big artists and bands was out on tour in the real Roots Reggae Stylee... Just for example in 1981 I was at concerts with Black Uhuru, The Culture, The Cimarons, Toots & The Maytals and many more. Later on I saw Winston Rodney (Burning Spear), Yellow Man, The Congos, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Max Romeo, Jimmy Cliff, The Capital Letters, The Skatelites, Israel Vibration, Dennis Bowell...and many many more... I can´t stand Ragga and all electronic reggae...

Foe many years I was very curious what Big Youth would bring to his performance? It was until now I can see how erratic was. I love me some Big Youth , never got an opportunity to see him perform, wish I did though. Big Youth is very highly highly up on my billboards, many many tracks. He along with U Roy, I Roy, Dennis AlCapone, and many great Artist toasting on the mic. Love Me some Big Youth Truth & Respect.
