Great video as always. As per our email last week I am still working through that tutorial (taking much longer than expected) but I will be in touch very shortly. Mike
Hi Nelson, Do you recommend marking the "discourage searche engine from indexing your site" option from the wordpress panel of the staging site? Will this de-index my live site? How do I make sure that the staging site remains not indexed? Thanks
@@PeeAyeCreative Thank you! So, just to be sure, I should leave it Un-checked, right? I've also created an authentication request on my site as described in the article!
I'm not sure what you mean by "only" but you should test it on the staging first. The point is to update Divi on the staging site, check to make sure everything is good, then update it on the live.
@@PeeAyeCreative ok I found a you tube tutorial from my host showing how to set up staging on plesk. So once I do my updates in staging should I update Divi on the live site as well Before I send the staging site to my live site?
You would only do one. Either deploy the staging to live with the theme already updated, or update it in the live and do not reply anything from staging.

You should keep that off. Also maybe check here: searchengineland.com/how-to-keep-staging-development-site-index-286987

Can you show another video how to update Divi on the staging site ?
There isn't much to show. It would update the same way on staging as normal on live from WordPress>Updates or Appearance>Themes>Divi
Hi, I hosting in Siteground but staging it’s not compatible with multiuser installations. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot
I don't know, they do confirm that it is not possible: www.siteground.com/kb/siteground-staging-work-wordpress-multisite/
Can Divi be updated first only to the staging ? That’s what I don’t get .
Yes, a staging site is like it’s own site but it is connected to your production site so that you can sync your update once it’s what you want.
