      Necro posting just to say, I kinda miss the Kaoss Pad days - and the Kaoss pads in general. The first one was basic AF but still was fun to use - brutal resonant filters on some of the presets though lol.

    Good god....I thought I'd seen every single Beardyman video there was. Then I not only stumble upon this gem...but, it's literally his best liver performance ever, imo. REALLY showcases his fucking insane musical talent. He's one creative human being. Really inspirational actually. It's nice to see a musician who takes risks. Why is that SO rare?

    I find it rather funny...
    I live in Holland. and every week of every month there is a talent show on tv. our recommended music trough radio and top 40 list is somewhat garbage with autotune. not all autotune is trash, I'm most deff not implying that. dj's and talented mc's are wicked, but you can hardly listen to it in public.
    so I find it funny how the world found: bieber, jersey shore, honey boo boo and other autotuned inscribed reality media shows, more interesting than this...

    Music can challenge locked views, and easily massages parts of our Will(power) so you can remember rythme-structures, seek to repeat a bridge or just feel comfortable with a song; in a way that allows listners under the influence to tune down many walls of our thinking that are usually connected with using the Muscles of the Mind, thereby easing our guilt& psychological knots, for a while. Hence, Good Music offers us an all-powerful& well-known capacity for both reshaping And escaping reality =)

    Having told her that Beardyman, §the Baptist§, is my mother of choice; my real mother dived into her music-issues(consequently forgetting all about her dad-n-mom-issues), among other aspects concerning the ear-heart-feet&vocal expression capacity in proteinbased memorydependent self-alienating human feelings. The song's a cover of "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" which is originally by Neil Young who performed it as a waltz on acoustic guitar, but it's more in the style of how Saint Etienne covered it in the 90's as sort of Poppy Piano House with a dub bassline . . . possibly "90's indie-dance crossover" . . . does that help!? :)

  • @juliot.632
    @juliot.632 11 лет назад

    Disagreed, he is a great improviser; a lot of skilled musicians are skilled musicians. He knows what works when how why, but making a composition like those of Bach/Beethoven, or something along the lines of the Wall (Pink Floyd) or music like that of Jon Gomm (skilled acoustic player) is a different thing entirely. That being said, Beardyman's skill set is impressive though.

  • @FullFledged2010

    I was referring the other comment in which he was talking about musicians in a studio. not live.
    Most musicians produce a foundation in matter of hours but the fine tuning and mixing is what takes most of the time.
    Creating music out of thin air really isn't that hard. Making it sound like a professional song is.

  • @FullFledged2010
    @FullFledged2010 11 лет назад

    Its called live performance. Most musicians can make good stuff on the fly but than that little devil called perfectionism kicks in and ruins the track 9 out 10 times.
    I really like his sound and originality but its far from perfect.
    Would you really want to listen to his stuff on a high quality sound system all day long?

    Soon........soon beardyman will get the attention he deserves. He's the most talented and most innovated musician out there right now and Im surprised he hasn't yet become recognized for it....You tell somebody to create a song on the spot, you say here is the title, the genre, and I want it to be about this.....oh, and you know what, do it all with your mouth, make the beat with your mouth, but also improv some lyrics and make sure they rhyme yet go along with the song prefect....PLUS match your voice perfectly to the genre of the song, AND have amazing vocals to match.....and do this every time......GO!......lol......Nobody but beardyman.
