  • In today's Nithya Satsang (25 Feburary 2016), Parmahamsa Nithyananda continues to expand on the introduction of Kenopanishad, the second of the primary Upanishads. Upanishads are to enjoyed like the sweetness of sugarcane. Upanishads enrich us to master our thought current, which becomes our cognition. Drawing a parallel between the Vedic education system and the English (Macualay's) education system - He reveals that the Vedic education is all about mastering a thought current, where the exams are not done as per the question, answer method. A student is prepared by making him speak on a specific thought current, to verify if he/she can spontaneosuly express that idea; whereas the English education, forces you to memorise information. "Change of thought current, transformation of thought current is the success of education; not memorizing information.", He asserts, thus, the glory of Vedic education.

Very powerful, love it, Hindu tradition: Upanishads doesn't give do's and dont's, it gives thoughtcurrents! Experiencial thought currents, What a great way to explore beyond the fear of death. The essence of all spirituality, is Vedic tradition!

Contemplation on thought currents gives experiential solutions not answers, it is the source of growth ands transformation.
Vedic Tradition is transmitting the real education, the real awakening through Incarnations.
    Gratitude to Guru

So true! Usually, people are so happy just with knowing what to do and what not and never end up looking within for answers.. So proud to be a part of a culture that catches the truth of how and why! Thank you Swamiji :*

This is really helpful knowledge in understanding the difference between true education and just memorization. Our current system is definitely based on just memorization. To be truly educated, we must steep ourselves in those thought currents and know the subject inside and out. Thanks Swamiji.

love it how the best solutions are so simple - it is not about changing our actions, but changing our thought currents. when real understanding happens, transformation occurs as a side-effect, so effortlessly

What you think about you bring about. However old patterns creep in my thought currents. With the blessing of Swamiji he cleaned up the old grooves in my brain and thankfully I can embed new currents.

Please... would you consider to put English legends on every video?
As a second language, English can be very difficult sometimes for us...
The little I learn, I already love it all.... :-)
