I love how consistent Star Wars is with its scathing depiction of corporations. Just like in real life, the biggest criminals operate legally and "legitimately"
Fully agree Buddy. The TTRPG "Traveller" game-play could certainly make use of Settings like this one (and a few others) or rather, use the info garnered from these places to spice up a GM's world within the Traveller Galaxy settings.
I feel like Coruscant, Taris, and Nar Shadda almost make a trifecta. You could almost compare them to the Greek fates, the three sisters, the Spinner, the Allotter, and Death.
Hilariously enough. The sheer number of ecumenopolises in the galaxy has created a similar stereotype. (though it’s more comparable to that of the Hecate sisters.) Best example is axilla which is summarized by Han Solo.“Turn Coruscant inside-out and make it a jail where the inmates are in control” (Winter Celchu thought the same thing)
Padme Amidala: "I didn't know slavery still exists. The Republic anti-slavery laws would have-" Shmi Skywalker: "The Republic doesn't exist out here. We must survive on our own."

Hi Folks. As I've mentioned previous, LOVE these "Smuggler Tales" and I think your presentation of them is awesome. I don't know if you got inspiration for them by viewing the "Essential Atlas" entry on page 14 titled "A Spacer's Life" (as it's similarly themed) but regardless, that entry is a real hoot to read as it includes identifying the consequences of "running afoul of The B.O.S.S.". I'd love if you elected to use that entry as a basis for developing a new "Smuggler's Tale", as it has some funny but excellent info on the precarious situation newbie "Runners" can find themselves in, should they break BOSS rules and Regs. Something I suspect unaware viewers may find entertaining and informative. Great stuff regardless my friends. Thanks very much for all your efforts!

So are you guys going to be doing videos for the new season of The Bad Batch on Wednesday or Thursday, and if it is going to be Wednesday then will we still get a video on Thursday or Friday, I only ask because the last two weeks you've done long-form videos on Thursday and skipped Friday so I'm just wondering if that was al preparation for a change in the schedule until the final season of the Bad Batch finishes up?
I mopped the floor on Nar Shaddaa as a sith warrior and imperial agent in SWTOR 💯. Mfs didn't stand a chance in the presence of Cyborgxander the merciless or Capt. SAMIRA 🤣🤣🤣

Nar Shadda is such a great setting for cyberpunk or noir detective-styled adventures.

Nar Shaddaa was a fun n interesting place to visit in the second KOTOR game
Nar Shaddaa sounds like a hell for most, but a dream come true for AnCaps
Plenty of desperate people to exploit.
Well yes, for the successful AnCaps: the Hutts. But there's nothing worse for AnCaps than being in a place where another AnCap is already on top
Padme Amidala: "I didn't know slavery still exists. The Republic anti-slavery laws would have-"
Shmi Skywalker: "The Republic doesn't exist out here. We must survive on our own."
Why is it whenever I learn about the hutts I desperately wish to learn about instances where the empire exacted retribution against them.
It is nice how all the gangs in SW follow a format fer naming

There's also this one little place in the mid levels that make the most amazing Rodian pepper stew... Best part is they deliver.
Ah Nar shaddaa the scummy sister of coruscant that she never talks about
I remember this place fondly while playing the old Republic game
Coruscant is just gilded by "political legitimacy" on the surface. The Underlevels are basicly the same.
@@namelesssomebody2557 at least coruscant actually tries to hide it’s underbelly Nar shaddaa let it all hang out

2:00 no wonder Cal Kestis wanted to go there when he got exposed on Bracca

We better not go there in Star Wars Outlaws. But we probably will.

The second most popular planet in the Star Wars universe in regards to things that happen on them of note.
Between Nar Shadda and the spice mines of Kessel, I’ll take my chances with the energy spiders
Wisest decision in my opinion.
The bots are on fire tonight/this morning
I find it ironic that it's on a video about Narr Shadda...
I remember Nar Shaddaa from KOTOR 2.
Very interesting and crazy world!
Too bad they don’t show it more in games and such!

Something tells me that Nar Shadda is basically Star Wars' version of Hell from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss just by watching this video.

Depends on the moon size and how dense the population is
