I never understand people's negativity against knots. I tie knots in EVERY project and then weave in the ends a bit. I never feel the knots and it doesn't cause any discomfort in wearing my pieces or using my pieces. There's nothing wrong with knots!
The Unapologetic knitter has a great tutorial on RUclips of how to frog Brioche in the round and pick the stitches back up in the correct orientation. I just knit my first 2 color Brioche Cowl in the round and used a few of her tutorials to learn how to pick up dropped stitches, correctly orient stitches that were twisted, etc. I really learned how to read my Brioche stitches and correct them when needed.
Hi Natalie. I just wanted to let you know that you didn’t post the Instagram video in response to the last question from Brenda. Also, I have loved all your sock content this summer and I can’t wait for the sweater content this fall. Love your podcast. 😊
Look at you with all of your finished socks! 🧦 You did it, you got them all done! Amazing. So glad you had a great time in TN with your parents - always nice to go back home for a bit.
You could use your moonglow yarn leftovers for the color palette socks again, but do it the exact opposite of what you did before, with the grey being the large color block section and the colors being the divider part that you used the grey for originally. If that makes sense 😂
Thankyou so so so much for answering my question, I can finally crack on with my snowflake and not be afraid of it any more, the video suggestion was a life saver. Xxxxx
Sock Girl Summer - I love it! It should definitely be a theme next year!! I don't have a local yarn store close to me - going home to MN next week so I'm excited to go to the local yarn store there! I have my list ready - but let's be honest, I'll probably be getting more than just what's on my list!
I have always suspected that adulting is highly overrated. After seeing the amount of progress you made while at your mom’s I have decided to set adulting aside and move in with mom. BRB 🤣 I think you forgot to insert the video for Brenda. FYI
I didn't join sock camp this summer, because I am just now knitting my first sock (a newbie knitter). My pattern shows how to do heel flap & gusset (which I've seen Kay do). Do your sock tutorials show "Fish lips kiss" heel?
I knit my whole leg with 4 less stitches increasing evenly round on the last row, or I do the whole leg rib my dad loves this skinny legs and normal feet.
Do you have a printed pattern of toe up. I have watched your tutorials and learned to do Judy's Magic Cast On. Would like the written pattern. Thank you
Ravelry recently redesigned their website, and the new design has caused many people to get headaches, nausea, etc. As of a few months ago, Ravelry no longer has the classic design available and therefore some people are no longer able to use the site. I believe that is the reason the warning is there.
@@Oliviaplayspokemon , Thank you so much for explaining! I had no idea , and I couldn't understand why people would need to be warned about Ravelry. Again, thanks!

Exactly!
I'm with you!!! I view knots as extra security.
Wow, me too!! I feel like I need the extra security also. There are ways of making them less visible.
Much better when you knot AND weave in the end! I think this person knot and cut 😓😓
@@KnittyNatty Yeah, I've learned not to do that with certain things. I only do that with dishcloths and even then I double knot it before I cut.

Sockin' Summer! (because some guys knit socks, too).
I love sock girl summer
Fun video! Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Yes Sock Girl Summer. I like how you (Kent) typed up the question.
Yay! I'm glad you liked that!
I would love to see a new sock tour with all the amazing socks you have made this year. 😍
Ooh yes that would be fun!
It sounds like you had such a lovely visit with your family! I love your #sockgirlsummer idea!
#sockgirlsummer 👏👏👏👏
Thank you for the suggestions on sock fit! I’ll try the changes on my next one, I had been doing 20 rows of 2x2 for the cuff 🙂
20 rows is good! Maybe try a 1x1 then!
Weaving ends. Just use regular needle weave needle first then thread needle then pull small end as long as it will go.
Smart!!!
So cute your striped socks are adorable, is it just a rib in the grey between the colours? Stay safe love and hugs xx
Yup! The pattern is call Color Palette.

Bahahaha yes I forgot the video 🙈🙈🙈
Hello from Mounds Illinois.
I crochet my ends in, it's just easier for me
Great solution! That would be good for the short end too.

Sock Girl Summer.....YES!!! btw...you're probably more out of breath because of the change in altitude.

They include the afterthought heel!
@@KnittyNatty thank you!

She has a couple of free sock patterns on her blog!
