Honestly I think this was their best song in a long time, and that is not to say that I ever thought they were "bad". It's just that the composition on this one was on another level. It's just so smooth.
Both this guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, and their other guitarist (who's back with them), John Frusciante, have amazing solo music. You should check it out!
You should react to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song called Torture Me. Its not that popular of a song but Anthony's vocal perforance is the best in any song on this one.
You make some great points about uncontrived pop tunes... and my man, going all Jungian on us! Love it; great analysis. Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik (1991) was only album that really grabbed my attention. See you've already done a couple from that one, but not a bad cut on it.
They have set a standard as musicians. that is what you get from was band of legends that play there music.. not some producer regurgitating hits and forcing a style of music on the public
You are such an eloquent and intelligent young man. I hope you do more RHCP and especially Pink Floyd. I see an exorbitant amount of Faith No More, so it seems natural to go down the RHCP rabbit hole as after all, FNM is diet, cold-filtered, low-calorie RHCP light.

dude the red hot chilli peppers are one of my favourite bands. For some deeper cuts check out this velvet glove, savior, slow cheetah or venice queen

Fire! This song gets better every time I listen to it and I've listened to it quite a lot this last year.

Starts out real similar to their song Parallel Universe......you should check that one out too.
Agreed. One of my favorites.
Good tune. But the RHCP with John Frusciante on guitar is always on another level.
Love the channel man. You do great analysis of the all songs you post. Keep up the great work
philosophy class is in session. ;>) Great reaction.
Flea is the man! But if you love bassist check out Primus, Les Claypool is also the man!
the official video really brings it home
Great song! You should check out the title track, “Stadium Arcadium”
readymade from Red hot chillipepers is a good suggestion for a next reaction.
I feel like you've been talking to John Frusciante with all this philosophy! ❤️
Nice

their second album Freaky Styley is dope, horns all over it. produced by George Clinton
