Just strolling through videos and I saw yours and I like the look, been looking at others and I guess I will try making this wig for myself 👍🏾👍🏾 thank you for sharing.
Well I made the wig and just like you, mine didn't fit my head 🤔🤔 it was a cap that I already had from a previous wig that was too heavy again thank you for sharing your talent with us 👍🏾👍🏾
I really loved your video on this braid technique! I'm mad I'm so late on finding your video. Great job!👍. I deffinetly going to do this! Thanx for sharing! 🙂
Because of chemotherapy my hair fell out I’m glad I came across your video I will be doing this I don’t want to wear the hair down all the time thanks for sharing ❤
You can buy some wig clips from the beauty store and sew one at the front and one at the back to secure it well. Thanks for the tutorial I will sure make one of rhis👏🏾👏🏾
I’ve never tried it, but I think it would if u were to use the mesh wig cap instead of the satin smooth one. U can also try fabric glue. They have it at Walmart. It holds very well.
What size is your manikin head? Measure your head and then make sure the manikin head is two sizes bigger. If you do this because once you place that hot glue on the cap it will not stretch. That could be the reason why it didn’t feel secure and it kept slipping
Thank u so much! That makes sense. I hadn’t considered that! My mannequin is 22.5” so I should definitely take ur advice cuz my head is big anyway. Lol. ❤️
Nice! Maybe a cap with adjustable straps would’ve work as far as it being more secured. Other than that you did a great job and you look very nice with that style.
I used a regular standard canvas mannequin block. I got it from amazon. It also includes the tripod. Don’t make the mistake I made & glue the hair down without a protective barrier tho! Glue sticks like crazy to that canvas. Be sure to put a shower cap on your mannequin before you glue onto your wig cap! 🤗
Roshonda Jackson I used 2 whole packs. I should’ve used 3 tho because I ran out of hair on the last two pieces... So I ended up having to make 2 handmade braids.
Lady's Boutique Hell yes! Lol. I learned my lesson. I completely forgot to use a liner underneath. Took all my strength peeling that cap off the canvas. Lol
You are straight to the point, Thanks for the info❤❤❤❤❤
Thank u so much!!❤️🥰
Jus added wig clips to mines and it stayed on the whole day. You did a really good job
I'm going to add clips because it does slip....
I think this was a great idea. Never would have thought this was your first time doing this. Gives me confidence to try to do this myself.
Thank u so much! Go for it!❤️
Use a couple bobby-pins they’ll keep it secure but you did a good job. Place a plastic cap or bag on your mannequin head so it doesn’t stick.
I love it! I think you did a great job. You have inspired me!! I think I want to try this today! Thanks for sharing your talent.

Didn’t know they sold those
@@Mellythagoat yep amazon
Thank you for your information about the black glue sticks. I knew about them just never found out where to purchase.
You did good and I love your honesty,I learned from you and your tutorial was very helpful for me thank you very much.
@@daqueenibforever9661 indeed the black glue sticks are so much better you can’t tell if you made a mistake or not they blend so well with the hair
This is really creative. Well done! Will definitely give it a try 🤗
Thank you for putting this up and especially for placing the link to the braids.
Use 2 wig combs one in the back and one in the front will help hold it on

I think it’s cute glad I watched before I tried myself thanks 😊
This method seems easy.I will try it out one day
This is soo cute. I made one too. I think I’m going to sew some combs in it for stability.
Definitely going to try this! Love it!
Looks nice. I made something similar recently and I need to add clips to retain placement and security
Clips would definitely be helpful. ☺️ I wish I had thought of that at the time. Lol

Exactly with the combs being added👍
Beautiful

Thank u!❤️ The glue is actually still holding on to this day. Lol
YOU DID A GREAT JOB GO GET SOME COMB AND SEW THEM IN THE INSIDE FOR SECURITY 💜💜💜
Thank u so much! ❤️❤️
Not sure if someone said it but a put a shower cap on block head before gluing to prevent it gluing to the block head
Good job to be first one

I THOUGHT IT WAS ME. BUT ITS NOT EASY KEEPING THE CAP ON , WHILE STYLING! 😬😂😂😂😂
What kind of hair was that .i like it
😊 It’s linked underneath the description section.
@@TamJ1 thanks i see it
How many packs of hair did you use?
Kisha Renee' I used 2 packs.... & ran out when I needed just 2 more pieces to finish. So I had to make 2 handmade braids.
Pretty Righteous thank you
Nice! Maybe a cap with adjustable straps would’ve work as far as it being more secured. Other than that you did a great job and you look very nice with that style.
Is it washable whit the glue gan?
this is nice.
You done awesome job you learn from your mistakes am doing that same wig because of fine hair and am older thanks for sharing
I’m very new to wigs. I have a mannequin head but what is yours sitting on while you make your wig?
I used a regular standard canvas mannequin block. I got it from amazon. It also includes the tripod. Don’t make the mistake I made & glue the hair down without a protective barrier tho! Glue sticks like crazy to that canvas. Be sure to put a shower cap on your mannequin before you glue onto your wig cap! 🤗
It should stay on if u use the no slip headbands under the cap…great idea tho
Love that idea! Thank u!!
Dont go so high up with the glue too much glue
Off topic, but I like ur floors.

Roshonda Jackson I used 2 whole packs. I should’ve used 3 tho because I ran out of hair on the last two pieces... So I ended up having to make 2 handmade braids.
You should have sewed the headband on, it's better and gives you more room to wear it without it falling off
Headband
I mske and sell these if you use thst much glue its hell to pull that off that canvas head i learn that
Lady's Boutique Hell yes! Lol. I learned my lesson. I completely forgot to use a liner underneath. Took all my strength peeling that cap off the canvas. Lol
Also use black glue sticks
I feel you on the security!!!! I made it but it was sliding like melted cheese while I was at work🧐 I need a solution like NOW!!! 😂😂😂
I’m glad to know it wasn’t just me! 😂 Thought I was trippin!
Pretty Righteous No Ma’am you were not 😂😂😂
SunShineLady Dy I’ve seen ppl suggest to sew a few clips or combs to the wig cap.
Hair pins work good too if you don't have comes sewn in cap.
*combs
Thanks for being honest lol
Yeah but. It won’t stay on.
At all. Hence the reason it’s stashed under my bathroom counter. Lol
Just curious what glue did you use??
Just some regular ol’ hot glue sticks I got from Walmart from the craft section.
U look like Tamela Mann
Lol. U should see my mother! Literally twins!
Couldn't here you
I like that you're not so perfect ☺️
Yes! Thank u cuz I hate that so much when I see other RUclipsrs forcing that perfect image. I try to be relatable & real. 💕
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣girl you play too much!
😭😭😂😂😭 I be trying man!! 😩 I don’t have the patience.
Thank you for putting this up and especially for placing the link to the braids.
