Twenty years ago I stayed in a B&B at a palazzo just outside Venice. It was derelict with original 19thC furniture and the owner left of the weekend leaving us two the run of the place. Nobody else there at all and in the Patriarchs Suite there was one lightbulb in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, each of which dimmed if the other was switched on. And of course there was a thunderstorm...hoofed it next day. By the way Julian I watched The Unlikely Pilgramage of Harold Fry this week on your recommendation, that was a truly excellent film...thank you!
1. Sounds as though it was made specifically for the US market. 2. Miriam Margolyes as Miss Marple? I think it could work. 3. Thanks for the warning I'll be avoiding this one. Cheers 👍🏼
