Even if he was already dead/even though he didn't die, Rogue still meant to kill him, and letting go of him without catching him before he hit the ground, effectively makes her a murderer, in a moral sense. It's like if someone holds an empty gun to someone's else's head and pulls the trigger, 100% believing it's loaded; they might not have actually killed anyone, but technically they irreversibly crossed that moral line. Rogue "killed" him out of anger even though he was already harmless at that point, and so still has to live with her decision, understandable though her pain may be.
Not only in that episode with Cable that Cable says he knows about Scott and Jean, but Jean scans his mind and sees a picture of Scott, her, and a DNA double helix between them as well, which I think is a bigger indication than Cable saying "I know about him, AND Jean Gray". Right after that, I believe she tells Scott that Cable is more important than either of them could know.
Do people forget Cable is also a telepath with skills honed in the future and likely has mental blocks preventing people like Jean from probing anything beyond what he wants them to see?

Wrong. The last issue of the Torn arc (AXM #18) outright stated (or as good as) that the flashback scene (in AXM #13) where Emma met Nova was a false memory implanted by latter to make it easier for her to control Emma. Re-read the scene where Scott, Beast and Wolverine explains everything to the others, especially the part where "a voice inside her" suggested to Emma that "even Genosha was all her fault". Additionally, it's never been suggested later on (in handbooks or comics) that Nova was responsible for the diamond form, it's always been referred to as a secondary mutation. Also keep in mind that the Cuckoos (Emma's genetic daughters) have manifested diamond forms, was that Nova as well? (Sublime harvested the eggs for cloning them well before Nova arrived on the scene).
@cececalderon9748 However, we are speaking of the same Torn when Negasonic sinks Kitty to the Earth’s core? When Cassandra makes Wolverine a b*t...schoolboyish, and Beast becomes the Savage that ate his leg, giving Beast the taste for human meat, he threatens later in embarrassment before Brandt dies
I was also glad to hear that brief little Cable theme that they played when Cable appeared. If there is anything I feel like the original series did better than ‘97, it’s the music. There hasn’t been many music themes on this show that have stuck out to me the way they did in the original series.
He’s hiding somewhere. I was thinking for Charles to get back due to his grief & desperation he’ll merge his mind with Apocalypse which will be this universe’s explanation of Onslaught & makes his powers way scarier.
@@Bman32x That’s an interesting theory. I had also considered that they may try to bring about Onslaught by saying Magneto unintentionally deposited a part of his consciousness into Xavier when Magneto super-charged Xavier’s mind to send the SOS for help to Lilandra in “Graduation Day”.

I got reservoir dogs vibes at the end of this episode when magneto was in the chair and the bad guy put the straight razor to his head. That scene was legendary.
I also love that while the series is called X-Men '97 because that's the year the series is set in, and the year the steps would have continental on from had there been a season 6, it's also a hiding on plain sight foreshadowing because the major X-Men crossover event published in 1997 was Operation Zero Tolerance
Emma Frost brought the Sentinel to the Genosha massacre. The secondary mutation of diamond form was a gift from Cassandra
Wow why
@@baconeggcheesepodcast9390 hellfire while Xavier was away… but it did bring Negasonic Teenage Warhead with Cassandra, Shaw, Emma Frost and the White Queen into play…
Kitty Pryde thinking it was her son Mike locked in a box in the basement by Peter frees the clump of cells that had become Cassandra Nova.
@@MoviestudiosPH I stand corrected, Im away from my Marvel Knights all and at the moment
I'm so excited about X-men back, and we are feeling it. You can just feel us being able to nerd out.❤
Colton needs to do more solo videos, he did a really good job.
I knew Bashin was going to come.
Why
T-100 Terminator?
Do you mean T-800 (model 101) Terminator?

Great to have you back!
I was also glad to hear that brief little Cable theme that they played when Cable appeared. If there is anything I feel like the original series did better than ‘97, it’s the music. There hasn’t been many music themes on this show that have stuck out to me the way they did in the original series.
Magneto lives !!
Right that was crazy
17:24 Hi I’m Mexican, the statue is called the Angel of ”independence” Not “innocence”. Just for you guys to know.
Welcome back Ryan! I was scared to watch this episode but I was really hoping you'd still be around.
Love you Ryan. It's great to see you back!
I would like to think that Bastion is Apocalypse in disguise, but they probably will still stick with him being a Nimrod/Mastermold hybrid.
@@FlawedCoil82Bastion appears to be brain washing Magneto, or torturing him, Magneto will likely go on a full warpath again, and Prof X will likely have to shut his mind off, thus creating Onslaught. (that’s how it happened in the comics, and this is very much looking like it’s heading the same way) I think Apocalypse will be more of a spectator in all this and maybe even help defeat Onslaught. (albeit he will have his own agenda) but I think this all will be season 2 stuff.
27:54 Substantial heat applied to Magnets make them lose their polarity. So Bastion's monologue to Magneto could have a double meaning.
Ryan!!! We love Colton and it’s also great to have ya back ❤️
You guys have great production quality. I love this RUclips channel
This show continues to surprise me and shock me its so good
Thank you for coming back. I hope everything is OK with you ND your family.
Good to see ya back bud!
Good Ryan, so good to see you back at the best Videostore in the universe ❤
Glad to see your back, Ryan.
Hello there Ryan! Mexico City ScreenCrush fan here! The statue is called “Angel de la independencia” (Angel of Independence) This figure is an emblematic symbol of the fight for Mexican Independence. In fact, the monument not only commemorates the Independence of Mexico, but also the heroes and heroines who fought for this cause. Like the mutants!
Your videos on X-men 97 are AMAZING❤
Utopia wasn't in Genosha, it was in front of San Francisco.
That magneto scene was similar to the razor scene with music in Reservoir Dogs too 😊
Utopia was built on the ashes of asteroid m not Genosha
18:17 its music to my ears to finally hear you say that title correctly.
