That’s so cool! I think these robots are very cute! My dad knows someone who recells batteries, so if I ever need on done I can get it done for free!! ☺️
As long as the traces are good it's hella easy to solder on a new connector or even run a bridge over a bad trace on the board by scraping away the solder mask over a still good part of the trace
I wonder what we can do about Pleo's battery situation. I really like my pleo and while it has a functioning batteries for now finding pleo batteries has become nearly impossible!
Could you take some pictures of the battery, and particularly the connector, and post them somewhere? I just got a BN-1 and it works when I get power to it, but it didn't come with the battery, so I will have to build a pack for it. I would like to use the same connector, but need a picture of it to source. Any help appreciated.
AWW poor babie i'm glad you got it fixed.. mine seems to work alright minus the battery power not lasting.. I plan on replacing the battery, but i'm also worried other parts being vulnerable.. She seems to work just fine other than that.
its way too difficult to find info about these guys online.. :( from the bit of research i've done, i believe they were made around 2002 but i could be way off; sorry!
A huge difference between the two is that this one is a toy, and the other is a home robot. This one is a cool novelty but aibo is meant to become a part of one's life and to even be a therapy Robot
this is the cutest robot ive ever seen im so sad they're so rare and out of production 😭😭
aww Dizzy the robotic cat is so so so so so so so cute
I'm so glad to see he's up and running again!
Great work! Never heard of these. Batteries+ is a great place, wasn't aware they did re-packs.
Congrats on 3K subs
bn-1s are so cute !!

I don’t think I ever saw one of those. It does not seem like it’s such a great item. Allitdoesisspin around.

These guys are very reminiscent of zoomers in design (So far that I wouldn't be surprised if the same company made both)
