Sad I missed this live 😔 I have a 6th house Leo sun conjunct Rahu in Pusya (according to your analysis Vic) and I can’t say how much I hate the spotlight. I’ve heard that Leo’s can also be the light that shines for others so they can find their way. My eldest son (who is on the Autism spectrum) was just voted school captain 🤩🥳 I suspect I’m one of those behind the scenes empowering sun types☀️😎 As someone who’s always felt uncomfortable with my sun placement I thank you for this instalment. I have a greater understanding of the Sun, it’s meaning, placement and therefore acceptance and appreciation for it and me 🦁🥰 Nga mihi Vic 🙏♥️
@@VicDiCaraAstrology absolutely my 1st and 10th lord is Jupiter. Which is in a tight conjunction with Saturn (less than a degree) in Libra, my 8th house. I think Ketu opposition (Aquarius12th) would add to the shyness/dislike of spotlight as well right?

Wow. So wow. In the birth chart report vic offers my most significant point is rahu. I didnt ever understand why. I have a tattoo of an eclipse, or, a dead sun on my chest. In honor of when i became a god and destroyed the sun in my first life. Full circle again 🤯 i love this stuff
Why the sun is not exalted with Mercury in libra , ?? also I dont understand , I am a tropical Libra and A vedic Virgo , I feel more venusian than a mercury person ... moon aquarious?? or capricornious?? I dont think is fear, I know virgo will be a plus for me what about if tropical had it right too ?? I am just a beginner on astrology
Is it true that people become more like their sun signs as they get older? And also could it be the case that what is supposed to be a very good position for the sun in a prominent house may be too badly effected to express itself? Perhaps because of just one aspect
That's a question I kinda had. My thoughts were that Ketu in Leo or Sun Ketu conjunction at it's core would be a good balance. I don't have enough wisdom to say whether or not that it would lead or not lead to self realisation though.
I have this (in Capricorn, uttara ashada). I'm still trying to work this out myself. All i can say is there's lots of transformation all the time, lol, like a consistent inconsistency and a deeper search for my own personal (and ultimately transpersonal) meaning of the concept of self- realisation.

I was just thinking of the symbolism of a flag of Ketu and Sun's "headship" or "directive" potential giving the conjunction, if in good dignity I would guess, an ability for a high sense of accomplishment or success but maybe...as I'm thinking and writing....one way to look at success is liberating from or understanding that leads to overcoming baggage. Examples like growing up in a family where no one graduated from college but someone with this being able to be the first, or growing up in a religion or culture and being the first or outspoken one to break from that belief or life style. Or like I heard once before, there's two ways that you can have the tallest building. Work to build the tallest or knock the others down..well maybe this offering a third of suggest that the tall building is not even a goal or looking at the issues tall buildings create.

Or growing up in a family where noone demonstrates a belief in the divine and then quietly, privately learning what my own innate hunger for devotion is all about thanks to Vic's Bhagavatam stream 💜....so yes to overcoming baggage. Also, many attempts at success are a process of elimination.

Just wanted to clarify, you mentioned that the strong Sun could be due to incorrect calculations. I received a chart analysis from you as well as other tropical rasi and sidereal nakshatra astrologers. Also it's still considered about the same with sidereal calculations. NOT AT ALL trying to come off offensive. Just find it frustrating to hear these qualities of Sun I would LOVE to have but as a Leo ascendant I Still don't. But as I understand indeed it could be to it's placement in Taurus and Venus and in 4th house in Navamsa and debilitated in d60.
Sun in Taurus wants harmony and peace. Leo rising doesn’t automatically confer a strong Sun, only rulership by the Sun. Mars might be the reason you don’t feel the qualities of the Sun - it will support or hinder your drive and how and where you take action in life.
@@SusanHopkinson Yes I agree that Leo rising doesn't automatically denote a strong Sun, it's strong in bala strength(almost 700). Mars is exalted. Definitely see how Taurus has that impact on Sun.

Will sun ketu conjunction take one towards self realisation or eclipse self-realisation?
That's a question I kinda had. My thoughts were that Ketu in Leo or Sun Ketu conjunction at it's core would be a good balance. I don't have enough wisdom to say whether or not that it would lead or not lead to self realisation though.
