Trading is, at minimum, 80% psychology. you should be unconsciously competent with your strategy (like driving a car, you do it without thinking). The rest is your mental state before, during, and after trading.

    • @ianbrown5955
      @ianbrown5955 4 месяца назад +6

You give psychology too much credit. You need a good trading strategy and plan; that is key. Psychology is only a nuisance that gets in the way when you don't accept that the market will do what it is going to do, and you don't trust your strategy/plan. Don't parrot the things you hear on social media.

@@ianbrown5955I agree that a good trading strategy and business plan are hugely important. You should be able to execute that plan with 100% efficiency (zero mistakes). However, good trading strategies are only as good as the trader using them. If you refuse to accept the huge importance of being in the right mental state, your strategy will quickly become meaningless. I'm not parroting anything, I'm speaking from experience. Best of luck to you. 😉

You definitely don’t need $3k to $5k to start. If you learn the skill and master your PSYCHOLOGY ( and by that I mean understanding that no matter what happens, you have to approach your trades with a winning attitude and accept the outcome, good or bad) You win this game by finally realizing what your comfortable with LOSING. For example, let’s say you have a $100 account. If your average RR is 1:4 and you risk $5 per trade, you’ll be comfortable knowing you have 10 opportunities to lose and still have 50% of your capital.
With that said, you could also win 50% of those same 10 trades and still 2x your account with that RR. Imagine you DONT MISS tho? You’d 3x your account from $100 to $300 just like that.
So don’t let post like these fool you or bring you down on your journey bro. 100 to 1000 CAN BE DONE! That’s a 10X. What’s 1000 to 10,000? SAME 10x.
Lot up accordingly and be consistent.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You people just parrot things that you hear other fake traders saying. Psychology? What makes you think that psychology deserves capital letters? Trading plan and strategy is the #1 key to being a successful trader. You can have all the psychology in the world, but without a strategy or a plan, you will be a loser. Strategy comes first. Confidence in your strategy takes care of psychology. 4 years turns $3000 into $100,000 after compounding and paying taxes every year.

I'd disagree; all you need is 100-300 dollars, and obviously, you should know how to trade.
Then you buy a $10,000 challenge for 70-100 dollars, pass it, and get a payout worth a minimum of 400-500 dollars, and then you keep increasing your funded accounts.
This isn't the 1990s, when trading big personal capital was the "ONLY" way.
If you can show consistent results and have a proper record of your stats, you can also pretty much ask for funding in real life as well.
So I don't believe a word you say here; if you want to do it, you definitely can; all you need to work on is skill. Stick to the demo a/c until you are not sure you can be profitable and have a simple edge!

It’s not an easy skill to learn, but it’s simple if you stick to your plan and don’t deviate. In order to make big money like she is saying you do need a bigger account to see bigger gains. That’s just common sense. But you doing need that much to get started.

  • @ianbrown5955

You are better off to practice paper trading, then spend $600 on a prop evaluation for more practice. Then you can get funded by that prop firm when you pass their evaluation process. Even then, you will have to spend money on 3 or 4 evaluations to get funded or refunded. But once you learn the ins and outs of funded trading, overall, you will accomplish more going that route. With a solid strategy that is proven to work, you can make a living being funded, or at least be able to save capital for your own account. Funded trading has different rules than the evaluation process. So even when you get funded, you could lose the account a couple more times before learning how the rules apply to a funded account. It could take 6 months to pass a funded account if you aren't fully knowledgeable on trading. So you are still going to invest a lot of time learning this art. It is cheaper if you have no capital, but are an experienced trader.

Most people take bigger chances with a small account. With a good strategy, a person could carry a higher risk until his/her capital was at a reasonable level before lowering the risk. I risk 2% of my capital, but if I started again with $1000, I would take 10% risks until my capital was up over $20,000 and slowly reduce it as my capital accumulated. But my plan and strategy is already on key. Then again, if I was to start over, I'd consider going with a prop firm to build capital.

Hold up didn't you say before Tori when you first started off it was like $500/$700!?
Also you can start on less just gota be careful and patient, its all about the psychology! Plus people dont go for the so called "easy trades" just get in there on the high volume and momentum! Chip away at making small profits for a while if need be and let the money grow slowly then scale up for the bigger trades over time!...

@borntodoit8744 that's a personal problem. If you have the same discipline and psychology as your own account, then you'll be OK. I paid $37.50 for each 50k account with Apex. I have 5 already and make $1k a day each That's 5k a DAY. I'm not greedy. BUT if I didn't have the firm NO WAY, would I have this results. It's all mental whether it's your money or someone else.

I don't agree; Coin it that if you are starting small like $100 with the right skill and experience you can grow it to $10,000 but it will take 1-3 years because I am a testament of that. I grew $10 into $100 then to $500 then now at $1420 but you know the trick? Money management; withdraw your profits and only leave the money you are willing to risk on your next trade in your broker account and when you lose that you make another deposit.

You can definitely start small and scale up, you either win a trade or lose a trade, the amount of money on that trade makes no fkn odds 😂

Will it be easy no but you don’t need 3 grand to start. I don’t think that was wise advice to put out there like that. There’s plenty of people that are successful starting with 50 bucks. It is possible. It’s called growth. Great videos but this one I strongly disagree with. Have a great rest of your day.
