The whole thing is inspired visually by Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet 1996 according to director Tanu Muino. Some visual aspects match the movie exactly. I'm a Shakespeare girl and I loved that movie.
An homage to MJ in choreo and sound.
But JK has his own style and sexiness.

Standing Next to You💜 is my favorite of the 3 songs you mentioned, next Seven and last 3D. On the other songs, Hate You and Too Sad to Dance are my favorites. Everyone has different tastes and that's perfectly ok.

I always love your comments, respectfully and on point, Aaron! I‘m older so far and I love this MV, the MJ honours, the sound, but JK changed it with this director into a masterpiece! Did you find out the hints to BTS, of course the wings, but Fake Love, DNA and Left and right (Charlie Puth & JK) and that is my thought N.O.? I love this one. You may want to change your title though; this one that you watched is Not the "(Choreography ver.)". That one doesn't have a lot of the props and extra people that are in this one and the outfits are different in the Choreography version. Just FYI.

SNTY is a masterpiece. Jk's vocals, music, mv, choreography, everything about this song is perfect. It's just your taste and brain is rotten listening to irrelevant kpop songs, specially construction noises and cring girl group song. stay in your kpop bubble, your channel has grown thanks to armys support but bts music is not for you anymore
Is weird: As an Army Mom since '16....seeing you literally grow up through out the years lolz.....tbh - you should be on a Runway in Milan or on the Cover of GQ. That bone structure/stunning looks, is wasted in our YT streets 🤣. Also proud to see how your channel has grown over time. I was One of Twenty (when you 1st started covering BTS) That being said: In my humble opinion? I felt as if Kookie was sending a very deep personal message to his brothers. Ignore the girl. Yea...she's stunning. Probs a Super Model but the lyrics (once dissected)....knowing their History/struggles etc. Felt like Kookie was talking directly to his Hyungs (now doing their Military duty). His ref to Black Swan/Blood Sweat n Tears. Mentioning 'DNA' and literally did that Iconic movement on his arm. Talks about "the Test of Time'. Least we forget - Kookie swore that his future is one which will have RM in it. Ergo...these lyrics are whimsical but it is NOT about the girl 🤣. It's a message to his fellow Band mates/brothers. Borahea Kid 💜💜Edit: In his 1st Solo "Begin" he had a ton of back ground dancers. In this one...notice he had 6 with him in the Middle? Once again....as if his 6 other brothers were dancing along side him. 100% Homage to them. Oh damm...now am tearing up...*sigh* miss them as a group 😣😣💜💜

I had expected more Jungkook rather than MJ, Justin Timberlake, Weekend, etc. everything already heard, nothing where you can say .. wow this is JK style.. every part of the song reminds me to another song.. clearly too much „influenced“.. he can do better and should do better.
