Oh man, I still remember the little tricks I learned with this game forever ago. Jaws can't hit you if you swim on the surface, but you can't hit him either. But, if you tap down and descend like a pixel or two, he still can't hit you, but you can hit him! With a turbo controller you can kill him fast, even at level 1! I don't know how my brain decides which odd little factoids to hold on to , but this game is sure one of them.
It also killed me that both of them didn't bother trying the A button until just before Arin lost the minisub near the end.
I'll remember that for the next time I never play this game.
Arin's energy in this is fantastic lmao.

Yeah, I go back to the NES episodes pretty often. The 8- and 16-bit eras make great material for shows like this.
NES/SNES/Genesis Grumps is the best Grumps.
When I was 7 my bestfriend Amber who was also 7 got chickenpox, and since I hadn't yet my mom made me hang out with her to catch them which I did. We spent days home from school with chickenpox playing this Jaws game trying not to scratch ourselves.

So on the NES there was an A button and a B button. The A button shoots the bombs out the left side, the B button shoots the bombs out the right side. lol
To be fair, any person if A button shoots the harpoons or whatever the diver does, you assume A is SHOOT for everything. You can't fault them for a shitty game design since in 99.999999999% of games, you face something and press shoot.

Aw hell yeah, this game is right out of my childhood. Beat it like 20 years after I first played it because I didn't see the movie as a kid and didn't know how to kill the final boss.
