I think they used a modified version of this song for run time and Jessica Darrow is so used to singing the original version that she miss sang the modified lyrics.
I have a suspicion (not a bad thing), that they digitally alter her voice at points in the song, to make it deeper... so, I wonder if that adds to the nervousness. Knowing that she can't actually sound the way she does in the film..... I don't know... after listening to this...maybe they don't alter it at all.
I think it’s because she’s not big and buff like her character so they didn’t put her in a dress so that she wouldn’t blend in with all the back up dancers in dresses. It’s to help her stand out so the kids could tell which one is Louisa
@@savannam741 shame because that outfit is what kids will remember. Most of the other actors had similar costumes to what their animated characters were interpreted as.
The outfit threw me off. Mirabel, Isabela, the WDTAB townspeople and the sub Bruno (that wasn't John Leguizamo) all wore costumes like their movie outfits. Pepa and her crew, Julieta and Abuela Alma went with the color scheme but not the exact outfit. This one though, being nothing at all like Luisa took me out of the immersion.
@@lunarialoonatic cool. but how disrespectful to the other cast members. why not just keep a spotlight only on her the entire show? it's a pretty rude way to get your confidence to 10/10
@@treefrog1018 maybe the rest of the cast didn't either...but they didn't want to be selfish dicks and wore the character costumes or at the very least, clothing in line with the story. Look at the voice of Dolores. They didn't wear the exact outfit but wore something low key and modest and not rude AF to the rest of the cast...being the only person to diverge that far from the characters outfit, and on top of that choosing to wear the most attention seeking wear possible. Fuck the rest of the cast, look at just me, because I'm special. Nonsense.
the donkeys are so cute 😭😭 props to the dancers, it’s insanely hard to dance in costumes like that.
I lowkey wish I was there!
I was obsessed with this when it first came out! Can’t believe it’s been a year already!

thank u for this vid i cant find other versions
oh my god its jessica darrow
I don't know how she didn't get distracted by those donkeys. I cracked up when I saw them.
Only explanation could be "many rehearsals" 😁
Awe she messed up I wonder how nervous she was 🥺🥺🥺

@@jayvansickle7607 ive heard her sing other stuff, they dont do that
If anything, I like her more because of the flub. Her voice live is as spectacular as it was in the movie, and I'm glad she didn't lip sync.
This song is ridiculously difficult, it made me so glad she struggles too
Jessica Darrow
I STILL don't understand why they are holding mics, a head mic would be so much better and I think theyd sound better and clear.
Why did they have her wear that outfit? They should have used the outfit from the movie
Thats so she stands out from the ensemble, who are all wearing the same outfit
Agreed! They should of used the movie outfit with glitter! 🤣😂
I’m confused why they used that outfit.

@@FromTrash2Treasure its like a suit version of luisa’s outfit, it has her red bow and everything

Did she mess up the lyrics? 😂
Yeah haha. I think they used the other night's performance for the official version on Disney+ haha
@@DisneyCentralDE Wondered if someone would comment about that lol.
@@DisneyCentralDE I heard it when Jessica confused one line with another
yeah 2 times in the same part 😂 2:59
I'm more disappointed in her outfit . Everyone dressed like the charakter but her
Why the pant suit?
Because she probably couldn’t find the costume in her size at the time of the show
