I don't remember Eric being so good, stead - on drums. Tasty too. Really good stuff. And this has to be about as early a gig where Jason was on bass, already
Eric kills it on drums for sure! His songs were always my favs too. I mean I dig Lou and jason’s stuff for sure but something about those breezy and whimsical acid casualty pop tunes really hit the sweet spot for me :)
@@grinningevildeath you just went too far on that one. Eric's songs had an appeal, I get it but Sebadoh was Lou. It's his music personality because his was the best, idea-wise...
Dude I've never seen footage this old of them playing especially with Eric on drums, did they ever switch off instruments like I heard they used too and did you see Eric do any of his songs on guitar,if so your lucky as hell,I saw them on the bakesale tour but of course no Eric,I love Lou and Jason but without Eric man it just wasn't the same.everuthing up to sebadoh 3, was just magic man and although bakesale is a great record I just lost touch after.i believe Eric had Alot of demons
Wow bro ,I feel the same.4 , EVERYONE listen to see your digdown ,it's o I'm k. We tried they're not trying to get physical at. All but that's o,k. Everyone relax

the guitar lou used for III + some of the other early stuff was just a harmony stella tenor with four strings, the guitar above is similar but six string
Kinda legendary set right here guys..
Opening jam is amazing 🤩
OH GOD IT'S BACK
"slintstrumental" and "brand new love" are probably the first live versions of any song I've ever heard
best, not first
Slintrumental is that cause it sounds like Slint
3:45 you know you came here for it
such an awesome early live version of Brand New Love,,,, this just made my day.
