Right???? After 4 years, I am still pissed ... Not only because I'm partly russian, but also because he truly deserved to win... Same goes for Polina Gagarina the year before.... Shame on the people who call themselves "Jurys" ... Can't leave politics out of the Contest... Really funny, that a POLITICAL song, that was pretty much a punch in russias face, won that night....

I think this is what made me start the channel... I loved how people react when they first see Eurovision!! And I thought I’ll find more people who’d like that!!
When I noticed that I was enjoying myself watching irrelevant people reacting to Eurovision -just like you are- I started up a mini Eurovision contest at my high school with the help of my teachers. Well, at first I thought that the project would remain with a lack of interest from the students because Turkey hasn't been participating in the contest since 2012 but it occured to be just the opposite and now it's like an annual tradition at my school. We have been doing it for 3 years already and now, nearly 300-400 dollars are paid to the winner group by the school owners.
We are also airing it live on RUclips and it's still on there XDD But unfortunately as I stopped being the supervisor of the show, the quality has gone lower and lower. Yet I am still proud as a Eurofan that I managed to make people gain interest towards Eurovision, especially feels better doing this in a country which is being ruled by Eurovision-haters.

I still don't know how they did it. It's a parody of Eurovison, a celebration of the contest's past and a banger of a song as well as a great example of what Eurovision is at the same time, plus they got Lordi on the stage which is always a plus

I think that is lost on many. Unless you really know and appreciate every reference. Otherwise it’s just a load of random stuff.

People can have different music taste. Russia got the most televotes and 3rd place. The jury also really made Poland flop, but the viewers like them, that's the point of televotes, if the jury and viewers had the same music taste, it would be boring. Also you kinda can't avoid the political side if there's an ongoing war between the countries. Eurovision was created to unite Europe after WW2 and having Russia start a war again isn't cool and ruins the thought behind Eurovision: Peace, fun and celebrating music together beyond borders.
@@Anatiumregina but as the first commentator said, the political song about WAR (about the actions which took place in Russia!!) has won, and you say ESC is about "peace, love and celebrating"? The right thing was said above, it was like "Russia, know your place", like we say here. What a hypocricy!

A would love to see in season 2 a reaction to UK 2009, even though we didn't win. I think it's the last time we put forward a truly great song. Other than that one of my all time eurovision favourites has to be La det Swinge from Norway.

You missed to explain how the rotating screen effect was made, I mean the one at 2:47. These were overscreen TV effects which were added in-syncro with the projections on the actual screen frame Sergey was seated onto. You may get a few clues of it by looking at the edges of the video, it you have an eagle eye...
