Wow, those key caps are money with the Freya! That’s such a great combo. Been on the fence about the Freya but this is making me really consider getting it!
Woah, your choice of caps really goes with this keeb, and really shows what it can be. Personally, I wanted it till I saw the price, and was a no go, but glad to have seen what it could've been. Thanks as always for the video scott! Can't wait for the next one 😁
Thank you for watching! As soon as I saw the board I thought... This is the board for that keycap set! I also have a titanium set that will be useful one day also
Love that you built this! Pushing the limits of luxury boards. That being said, i find all these gadgets like the sliders and the touch screen to be a bit gaudy. And even though the keycaps look amazing, i just cant dig the sound. That being said, I love your videos! And I love your builds! Just got the Neo80 because of your recent review.
super hyped for this keyboard and looking forward to buying it! this would be my first group buy ever. also funny because I had the same keycap set in mind and was saving up. This will probably be my 'end game' keyboard since it would be super pricey lol. P.S saw this announced a while back and been following content ever since, was wondering when you would make a vid on it. here we are lol
I'm looking for my next mechanical keyboard, so this is a great video. Very informative. Just some feedback though.. The background music is a bit distracting (volume wise).
Very different keyboards so its hard to compare. Layout, features, & price are all different. However, the Freya seems more innovative and worth the money imo (fyi I don't own either of the keyboards, just my own observation based on the Keybored's reviews). The Relic80 seems like a very standard keybored with wireless functionality and wireless charging, if you dont need wireless then the only thing it has going for it is it's looks and sound.
The first time I felt the way you did with this keyboard was when I saw Phase One 65. I wanted that board so bad but I was too broke at that time (still am).
Seeing this videoo after seeing that Mode announced the configurator for the Loop with preorders starting the 28th of February is roughhh, I need these two boards lol
The following is a nerd complaint. Ignore if not interested. Freya is not related to Aphrodite. They have overlapping domains (sexuality-related stuff, primarily), but Freya's lore is not analogous to Aphrodite's in nearly any other way.
This has me thinking that full blown Android Wear OS on a keyboard wouldn't be a bad idea: Integration with Slack and Toggl, caller ID, notifications, keeping your phone unlocked, media controls for all your phone apps, customizable watch faces - it would be a more elegant and focused solution than having your phone on your desk when you need to be productive.
It's been a while since my very first glimpse of a keyboard made me want it, and I'm only wanting it more and more with each review! It's a massive shame that they're sending the prototypes to reviewers with *only* the outer aluminum-inner PC plate. They've got four different options (AND they can be recombined with each other for different combos!) but we just have to sit here guessing what the different plates are going to sound like in our builds. Sure, most of us already have an idea of what an alu or fr4 or pc plate is going to feel & sound like, but idk if any of us has experienced combo plates like this before so who knows what it'll really be like?!?! Depending on how much extra plates are, might be best to just go all in on this gb and get every combo 💀oh man i'm gonna go broke
Good thing you can get this keyboard without the screen and fader. Those look completely out of place, especially the screen. Although I feel like screens definitely do not belong on a keyboard. A real shame this one's PCB has flex cuts too. :/ Good thing they at least offer a non-flex cut variant.
I hope they bring out more apps for the screen and make it even more useful! I liked the fader because it sets your system volume exactly to that position! Works for my needs!
@@Keybored Oh it's a beautiful keyboard for sure and probably a lot of people's end game keyboard. MIGHT be a future purchase wayyyy later down the line.
A $400 keycap set should not go on a $100 keyboard. But neither should it go on a $400 keyboard.... The keycap set is almost as expensive as this insane keyboard...
This keyboard has some nice design BUT also some bad design: the LCD screen enclosure does not match the rest at all, it looks weird. If we see a keyboard as hovering between art and kitsch, this is too much on the kitsch side for me 😉
To be honest... I can't decide on how I feel about this board. It exists in this weird equilibrium where I somehow find it both classy _and_ tacky at the same time...
It’s a good looking board, but it’s over the top. No one is spending this kind of money on an analog typing device, just to get digital features like a touch screen. Wuque does some great stuff, I’m actually running their Morandis and Jade Linears in my keyboards. I just think they missed the mark with the Freya.
Lmao people are absolutely going to buy this me included because I enjoy the aesthetics. Is it expensive? Yes. But to be fair there are absolutely more expensive keyboards out there for sure that people have bought.
I think there are many sound centric boards out there as well! But this one is an all rounder that doesn't really fall behind in 1 area. That's my opinion!
I think it's sick. Companies can only do so much with keyboards to please enthusiasts. If you're not into it, that's your opinion. From a keyboard enthusiast's view, I think it's really refreshing to see a touchscreen knob and a slider with the option to change them to macro keys.
The slider kinda looks like a nose 🌚
lmfao
😅
Lol!
I can't unsee it
Can't unsee - what have you done! 😂😂
Wow, those key caps are money with the Freya! That’s such a great combo. Been on the fence about the Freya but this is making me really consider getting it!
Didn't think much of it but when I saw it was like dang! Some cool stuff on this thing... Very 2024
Yes, those keycaps are money....
$329 to be exact.
And with freya, yes, even more money.
$900 with tax to be exact....
100% buying this board. I absolutely love it. Great video!
Thanks for watching!

Dang I want this so bad... Great review and I love the aesthetic of your build!
Thanks! The keycaps and the keyboard combo truly turned out awesome!
omg those awekeys gold metal keycaps turn out so good can't wait to get mine !
I was pleased at how they had no issues at all with usage or fitment! And they look great! But makes your keyboard like a hundred lbs haha
The keeb looks a LOT more of a JEWELRY than a keyboard
Some people said they'll prob just display it haha
Holy hell this one is really quite special!

Sword clashing sound would be a must have feature for a full metal build 😂
Haha. I told awekeys to include a damper for those that want that sound gone
WOW!!! That gold version sound!
It's like the Keeb is going to war!
Sounds like any other over-foamed board. Second sound test much nicer to my ears, it has personality.

How did you get it so early?
Already sold out within 1 hour of the start of the group buy.
I'm looking for my next mechanical keyboard, so this is a great video. Very informative. Just some feedback though.. The background music is a bit distracting (volume wise).
I'm making my first custom keyboard and I'd love to hear your impressions on mmd princess switches if that's something you're interested in.
Hi from Mexico, I love your content.
I want get one but, between Freya and Relic 80, which one will you choose?
Very different keyboards so its hard to compare. Layout, features, & price are all different. Oh, it finally made sense now. I was wondering why the default device name in the Pocket Wuque app was Freya when I used it with the Zoom75 screen.
Hahaha yes it was getting ready for it!
The first time I felt the way you did with this keyboard was when I saw Phase One 65. I wanted that board so bad but I was too broke at that time (still am).
This board surprised me a lot in its foamless config, ngl. I'd have to go with at least 2-3 different plates, the knob, and the left macro cluster.
The foam less build was nice! I stuck some in to mute it a bit haha
Not my kind of keyboard but there is a lot of really interesting design being shown off. Definitely looks great with the gold keycaps!
Definitely interesting!
From an Ikki68 user's perspective, i see this as an absolute win
Seeing this videoo after seeing that Mode announced the configurator for the Loop with preorders starting the 28th of February is roughhh, I need these two boards lol
Lots of monies!
Price has entered the chat💀
that metal rattle though :D
I would use a damper on it!
There's a metal tick sound for the stabs, but surprisingly, for the first time I'm not hating it at all.
of course...because it's metallic spacebar, that's why he described the sound as "sword clashing sound"
A damper in it will take that clashing sound away. I told awekeys about adding it in!
love it
Thanks!
The following is a nerd complaint. Ignore if not interested.
Freya is not related to Aphrodite. They have overlapping domains (sexuality-related stuff, primarily), but Freya's lore is not analogous to Aphrodite's in nearly any other way.
Haha fair argument! I'm not much of an expert in this area and had to rely on Google :)
Make this in a TKL/80% or 100%, offer it in silver/alu accents, and I would buy it in a heartbeat. So sleek.
Split spacebar! YES!!!
This has me thinking that full blown Android Wear OS on a keyboard wouldn't be a bad idea:
Integration with Slack and Toggl, caller ID, notifications, keeping your phone unlocked, media controls for all your phone apps, customizable watch faces - it would be a more elegant and focused solution than having your phone on your desk when you need to be productive.
The side module is not having RGB while the main component does is a little weird. It'll look very off with rgb on
I would go with the slider... It feels more complete with it
is this Satin Gold keycaps or just reg gold?
Satin
I liked this video representation a lot. Expectating more like this in the future.
it’s beautiful, would you ever step into vintage territory though?
I Def would like to!
The watch part is about $200 for all those features.
Can it really be that the Freya is Windows only?
Pretty, but to lose all them keys for the svreen/knob is a no go for me.
우왕..좋아보여~
ㅎㅎㅎ 감사합니다!
I tried one today, I am disappointed to say that while the type sound and feel is typical, the slider and knob feels really cheap.

You have a good point! Like what happens if you combine like CF plate outer with alu inner? It'll be so interesting!
Why are southern leds the new default 😢😢😢 like everywhere

I kinda want it... but on the other hand I don't... I feel conflicted about a keyboard
Haha that's always the big question!
This looks like the type of keyboard MrT would be using.
Funny story, I've met Mr.T at LAX airport before
Can the knob run doom
Maybe if you move it up and down fast enough!
How bout crysis tho? 😊 Jk great review!
Magicforce68 but fully evolved.
It's the Charizard to the charmander
It's like a keyboard that I don't like to use, but just put in a display cabinet, especially if with gold metal keycaps.
It Def is a looker! I think the white one is going to be just gorgeous! White and gold and silver!
That's an expensive display keyboard lol.
@@Kesttang i don't know what to make of it. Maybe it's a smart watch with a keyboard attached to it lol

Has to be a galaxy watch lol
It really looks like it haha... Even the update to the screen is through android BT so... So yeah I'm sure it's a wear os haha
Why not TKL 😂
Every goddess needs jewelry ✨️
Haha was that too cringe?
@Keybored the sentence was absolutely fantastic 😸 ! !
Keybored got mad rizz. 😂
No 7u is such a huge miss as t this price point!

Impressed by the looks, not impressed by the sound. For me it can go into the same category as Vertex Angle.
