How could you not love this! Jimmy is older but I think his voice is even better. And Joe's guitar is so emotive and perfect for the song. They both compliment each other.
Joes guitar skills are amazing combined with Jimmy’s vocals is deadly. Joe does another good Colab with Beth Heart “I’ll rather go blind” worth checking out
Thank you so much for doing this one, loved your reaction! You will struggle to find a better example of such soulful fusion between vocals and guitar. Older Jimmy Barnes still singing his heart out and sounding amazing. Joe Bonamasa and his guitar are in perfect harmony.. If you're interested I would love for you to react to a song by Joe called Riding with the Kings. What's special about this is that it has Jimmy Barnes' daughter Mahalia singing! Enjoy 🙂
Favorite way to play…make sure every note isn’t heard, but FELT…that’s why I love guys like Bonamassa, Gary Moore, Slash, Derek Trucks, Clapton, Mike Campbell etc
Jimmy was 58 year's old in this video he turned 66 a week or two ago and has released two new song's Soothe Me with Sam Moore and Do you love me with Josh Teskey still sounds awesome.
Thanks so much for this reaction we love Jimmy and yep he can definitely still go high if needed! That’s his son on the drums by the way. In terms of your request for other Aussie artists, I think you’d really enjoy Matt Corby’s acoustic version of Brother (For Like a Version) and also Guy Sebastian’s acoustic/home studio version of Battle Scars. Both are absolutely outstanding Aussie vocalists. You won’t be disappointed!
Joe Bonamassa used to open up for B.B. KING At the age of 12..(He started playing at the age of 5) btw..Joe Bonamassa's keyboard player Reece Wynans used to play for Stevie Ray Vaughan!
Great reaction. Joe is just a master and Jimmy is a legend. I can see the Joe Cocker similarity but to me he brings to mind John Farnham, another Australian legend.
Some of the people in the comments already mentioned Beth Hart. Haven't listened to her yet. I might check out one of her collabs with either jimmy or joe
Hi there. I have just found your reaction to this, oh so fantastic song. You asked about other singers, so have you seen Kasey Chambers do Eminems ,Lose Yourself. It is fire. She is a country- blue grass singer and has always been unafraid to be herself, no matter what. Maybe you have seen it by now, but it was worth a mention. Cheers from Oz.
Loved the smile on your face with the guitar solos...lol If you want another Australian legend a must watch is Tommy Emanuel he is known world wide...so maybe you already have heard of him...if not let me introduce him playing 'Classical Gas' ruclips.net/video/S33tWZqXhnk/видео.html
Hier würde ich "I´ll take care of you" empfehlen. Ansonsten: Wenn du Gitarrist mit einer Passion zu Blues bist, dann bespreche doch mal was von Roy Buchanan.Vorschlag wäre: "The Messiah will come again".
Setze gern beides auf die Liste. Beth Hart kenne ich noch nicht, habe den Namen in den comments aber schon einige Male gehört. Werde ich auf jeden Fall bald reinhören

I love the intro. I especially love the exited feeling that bubbles up when you just KNOW you are going to love this song you have not heard yet
One of my favorites. Your little smiles always make smile.
Ooooo, So beautiful, bluesy and lifts the soul...Just the medicine I need today...Thank you so much for the awesome reaction
Always a pleasure

Will do. Some people already mentioned Beth, but I don't know her yet, tbh
He does a great colab with jimmy barnes daughter too , mahalia barnes
Also check out "I'll Play the Blues for
You" 😎

Joe was a child prodigy, gigging since the age of 8 or 9. he was opening for BB King at 12 yrs old.

My top three Barnsey performances are all collaborations, including this one. And I rate this Bonnamassa performance even against the Beth Hart stuff.

Joe and Jimmy also did "Too much ain't enough love" as well while in the studio and check out "Lazy". It's fire 🔥
Joe opened for BB King when he was 13 years old and has put out 11 albums
Something only a Goldtop LP can do…doesn’t hurt Bonamassa has it in his hands…phenomenal playing
Ice House, "Great Southern Land."
Billy Thorpe doing a solo acoustic version of somewhere over the rainbow is well worth a listen
Polarising but I absolutely love it. Great track.
Have you tasted Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart “I’d rather go blind” from Live in Amsterdam? Also take in “lazy” with Joe and Jimmy.
cold chisel
gotta react to these blokes doing deep purples "lazy"

I know him already. Don't know too much of his songs, though. I've seen classical gas already but will react to one, I don't know yet, very soon
If you don't know about Joe you are missing out
