Those 'family size tents are awesome, but any of those would be a great addition 🤙🕶

I know I wanna tour Europe now that I am done with job training in school (you know: See the world while you're young, get to know different people and just experience as many ways of living as possible). I am a person who just loves Europe and the values it stands for. You can literally travel between countries as easily as (at least to my knowledge) no where else in the world... I always thought I need a Camper to do so, but a roof tent seems so much more convinient for just traveling around, never staying too long at one place plus (which is a heavy point for someone like me, who hasn't that much money right now) it's way cheaper to buy a car and a roof tent, instead of buying some van and building it into a camper... I had a bit of a talk with a friend of mine about that topic (and funnily enough a very similar talk with her sister about the same topic just this last night on a party by my friend's family) and honestly: The more I think about it, the more I actually love the idea of buying such tent and travelling through my home country of Germany, just to give it a try before heading out onto the voyage I dream of doing... This right now is shaping up to be the most exciting time of my life already and I just left school this thursday! None the less: What a damn good time to be alive right now!
Can you please show how to set up the annex? It is such a struggle with no manual and no videos for the tourer x rtt
I don't know if people do this but I want to use the roof and struts of a rooftop tent as a poptop for my VW Caddy. I think I could make it work. Time to find a 2nd hand one to pull apart
Where to buy the tourer x. Everything online is 7week back order?
Is this video based on the rtt,s you sell?
The Kwiky MK11 doesn't have holes on the right hand side for the ladder like the first version making it not suitable for a lot of people...need to fix that problem.
It seems like a crucial design flaw that could affect a lot of people.
Can you combine a tub rack + roof rack to mount an aluminum rooftop tent? Therefore eliminating the need for a canopy.
Yes, but the tub flexes a tad, and you may run into issues when off-roading or even daily driving depends on the conditions
Is the ladder side part of tent floor is strong enough to hold an adult person?is it safe to sleep on that part of tent?
I was thinking the same. There's a good portion of the bedding that is not being held by the roof of the vehicle.
I'm a fat American (thanks American diet of seed oils and sugar in everything) I weigh 315lbs and the smithy build xl (king size mattress size) and the ladder hold me just fine. Seggs on the ladder is another story.
Dirty Jokes aside, I do weigh 315lbs and I sit on the ladder half of a soft shell tent and have had no issues while putting on my shoes. You'll be fine.
Should i only get cross bars or should i get the crossbars and a roofrack
Hi there,
We would recommend a roof rack.
Regards, Courtney
Can you put a rooftop tent on a Mazda CX30 2023 model and if so what type?
Hi there,
We recommend checking your vehicles weight capacity to ensure one of our roof top tents will be suitable.
Cheers, Courtney
Any ideas on a replacement mattress for a roof top tent.
Decathlon :-)
Self inflated mattress
Using a thin high density gym mat under the mattress helps. I used interlocking & perforated square foam floor mats under my Kwiky RTT mattress work great, is quite comfy for me & gives aeration as well.
How fast should you go on the road with a roof top tent?
If it's mounted well you won't need to worry about slowing down because of it. If it feels really sketchy at higher speeds then look at trying to mount it better
Yup. I go normal speed even on the highway. But when I first got it, it didn’t feel mounted that great so I stayed in the slow lane and kept my focus on it.
70mph/123Kmph
Only 497 incredible’s used in that vid 😂😂
Raincoat required
omg, i just watched your old video and saw there was an updated video...
What the fuck, this is just a rehash of your old video almost word for word.
this does not help me to choose a roof top tent in 2023..
you can find more information, hardsell, soft shell, size
When you butcher saying aluminum 😅
there is an i after the n......
That's the intended pun, i think?😅😅😅
