Hey! Researching older weather radios and immediately recognized your voice Blackhat! Been a subscriber there for years.
@CampfireTalk Thanks Campfiretalk! I appreciate you interest and support as always! Take care my friend!
Awesome review PR556. I was considering this or the voyager and after watching you review I'm sold. Keep up the great work!!
@heavensarmory Thank you! I appreciate you kind comment!
Very cool little radio. I have been looking for a radio like this.
great review sir ! I picked one of these up this spring to replace my old similar Grundig crank . I wanted something with audio in to connect and Ipod . First off it worked perfectly for usage in the boat . In bright sun it would run all day at moderate volume , radio reception was much better than the older Grundig model with no station drift and much easier to tune in with the digital tuner. But after about our 3rd trip the crank does not charge it anymore .
I kind of hate this video, only because this appears to be a much better EM radio than the one I currently have :)
Great to see a brand new PackRat video out, you do a great job presenting information & I trust your opinion. Part 2 here I come
@MichiganTNP Thank you sir! I appreciate you watching!
@Rhinoch8 Thanks for your interest!
@subse7enx Hmm, that's too bad. Thanks for posting that though for others to consider. Thanks for watching and commenting!
-- Great to see another video! Top notch as always sir!
@charper3006 This might be just what you have been looking for. Thanks for watching as always! Take care.

@Jollyprez Will you film a review? I would be interested to see it. Thanks for watching.
I have the smaller version -it's the Microlink FR 150. I am testing it now.
@rooftopeagle It did work for me so far. I know what you mean, because this is the first time I have had any luck with this feature as well.
Another good review from PackRat.
@PackRat556 I plan to do some videos on misc subjects, just haven't gotten round to it. My focus is primarily camping stuff. I'll try to put something together in the next couple of months.
@AppalachianFreedom Your feedback is most appreciated!
Good review... thanks, PackRat; I have been wondering about the quality of these radios. I wonder if it's possibly to run directly off solar-power in a situation where the rechargeable batters eventually fail.
