I‘m Chinese and this morning I opened the Chinese version of TikTok to find a video posted by Chinese muslims. It’s a Japanese girl (non Muslim) asked to try hijab by a muslim woman and after putting it on, the Japanese girl politely said it’s not as hot as she thought. Chinese muslims in the comments are saying the girl looks more beautiful in the hijab and it truly disgusts me. The Japanese girl is clearly just being polite, why do they make it seem like she’s going to convert? Islamists use videos like this for propaganda but when muslim women want to take off the hijab, what will happen to them? It’s true that Chinese and Japanese (and Korean) people have many historical and political problems among us, but culturally we are so close to each other. We have similar traditional costumes, languages, festivals and ideas about how the world functions and what an ideal society should be like. So my fellow east Asian women, remember we are beautiful in hanfu, kimono and hanbok, not hijab. We must protect the culture that is behind these traditional costumes, as well as our right to wear T-shirts and other modern clothes. Do not let Islam corrupt our culture!

Ironically, the reason why muslim women wear hijab is to make themselves look LESS attractive, so that Muslim men won’t be ‘tempted’. Claiming that it makes women look better is really sick and twisted. Tell any Muslim women who claims that wearing a hijab makes her look ‘beautiful’ that she is actually going against the teachings of Mohamed, who told women to cover their beauty so they wouldn’t tempt men!!

As I mentioned in the chat, calling someone "Abdel" - I'll use the French equivalent - is not a slur; I was confused by all the Moroccan grocers in my area going by that name. I asked one of my best friends of Algerian Kabyl descent if this was really such a common given name. He explained that it was short for plenty of names, in the 100s, associated with the Muslim prophet: Abdelatiff, Abdelrahman, Abdelkader, Abdelaziz, etc. Saying that this ("Abdel") would be the equivalent of a slur like the term "gringo" is inaccurate. "Gringo" is misunderstood Spanish for an Irish-American folk song beginning with "Green goes...". An equivalent to "Abdel " would be "Joe" or "Jack" which are often used as nicknames for John, Joseph, etc. These are not slurs. "Yankee" is used as a slur in Europe for "American."

The correct classification you need is "religious discrimination"; however even then, the heart of the Islamic World i.e. the nations that are primarily Muslim and have constitutions that defer to Shariah, as well as their populace, fully agree with the inhumane teachings you see in Quran ayas and Hadiths graded "Sahih". CIRA International, a channel made by Al-Fadi, has made a series on "Islam: West vs East" and you can see how starkly different Islamic countries see Islam compared to Muslims in the West.

So accordingly they are 100% in favour of 'human' rights. The definition of 'terrorist' excludes jihadi Muslims, so of course they are 100% against 'terrorism'. I am thinking about your admonition not to say: they have left Islam but Islam has not left them. I have been feeling that there is some truth in that saying, and it would be normal, as our experiences really shape us, especially our early ones. But we can become aware and change. -When I see intelligent, grown men go at each other in this fashion I see what I see on some Muslim channels: scolding, taunting, scolding…in public! Goodness, they even get to beat their wives. To be honest, what I see lacking in the atheist ex-atheists who like to lash others without speaking with them in private directly first, is biblical principles. Firstly, there are the Ten Commandments: one of them is: do not speak false witness against your neighbor. Someone’s reputation is very important to him. Do Not defame people. It’s a horrible thing to do, almost like killing or theft. Also there is: don’t covet. If someone has a bigger house, a bigger audience, bigger muscles, a prettier wife…it does not matter. Your first relationship is with God and he gives you all good gifts in measure and time, as he chooses. Just do the right thing and don’t worry and be grateful. Then there also is Matthew 18, where the conflict resolution process in a community is laid out.
