Just got mine, delivered with .137, followed your procedure and no issues at all, no downgrading needed. The only hiccup was at the end, I was getting notifications of not being play protect verified, can't install, but I manually stopped that single notification and everything has been fine. Even migrated my apps over with the Play store, no issue, updated, no issues. Many thanks for your work here. It's crazy how you figured this out. All those steps. I just followed everything you did click for click.
@@RedskullPro Yeah, manually stopped that one and all is working great, no issues. Still transferring my music over phone clone (like 100GB). Next step is to remove the bloatware and then I can actually use the phone.
Edit: restarted a few times, one time in between it stayed on long enough to download a map (which showed a blank space in the select map screen). I restarted the phone a few times and it finally worked. Just no voice prompts. The voice is there, as I did a test, but it won't give prompts.
@@RedskullPro Now that it's all up and running, could I remove Google Account Manager and that G app that has all the Chinese writing? Also maps with voice navigation works, but it requires somehow to have google assistant installed and Google search. Only then was I able to get voice assistance, but even then it was hit or miss

Didn't work for me. The error started after uninstalling the backup file. I kept getting an error message saying there was a newer version available. I am glad it seemed to work for some though

When you say "try 3 or 4 times" should notifications still keep on coming do you mean try again from the begining ? or restart the steps to get rid of the notifications? (10:06) on your video?. I noticed Google frame work is about 355K when installed from the fix error folder. After the errors start to pop it gets to 620K in side. Is that the problem?! Thanks
No.. Just install and uninstalling the service framework and play store apk. Dont forget to Clear cache framework service. Repeat this method until the notification gone.. Good luck brother 😉

I had to repeat the last steps several times till it worked without notifications. Repeat the Steps as shown from minute 10:00 . Be patient. For me this Method worked like a charm. After succesfully installing the google services i did an update back to FW 236 an everything is still working fine.

try again, my p40 lite freeze and reset few times, but on the end all works, I blocked notification with error: "This device isn't play protect certified' and now all works.

Works on my Mate 30 Pro LIO-L29. I have downgraded with HISuite. Successful installation. All applications work (except Google news!) Including games with payment via Playstore. The banking applications have validated the security certificates. For the moment that happiness! Thanks to all the developers who participated!

Thanks for a great tutorial. Unfortunately, it does not work on a Huwai P 40 lite. Further inside the installation, the menus change so that it is no longer the same as you show in your Tuturial (Your screen) - When I go to the "Backup process" under Apps and search for "Backup" it does not exist!. But you show it nicely and simply that you should be thankful for.
For does who have a freeze when trying to uninstall Google Services Framework, keep doing these two steps many times : 1) force stop 2) clear data. And do it again and again until when you clear data the button switch for "recomputing size" for 3-4 seconds. Force stop one last time and then you should be able to uninstall the app :D ! I did this 4 times until the notifications finally disappeared 🎉 Like to push this comment on top 🙏

I had the same issue. I managed to get around it by force stopping, going back in to clear the data then force stopping again. It uninstalled successfully after this

Can confirm emui 11 works on p40 pro 5g 0 issuse using this method I had some issues with notification but as you said disabled wifi and with patient it all worked great

Following your video finally I have succeeded to install gms into my P40 pro and that helped few of the essential google apps like maps, youtube and gmail apps to work. Issues I am facing like some food ordering apps partially work and takes long time to load as it has location search and system can't determine location sometimes on Wifi or sometimes on data. Local Pay wallets does not work and it requires play service which notifies me though I have play service installed through your video. This is just for your information, Thanks for your help.

I still got the notifications after the last step and some apps weren't working (maps, gmail, covid). But by reinstalling the framework several times the apps started working. Except for covid but I'll leave it like it is as I am afraid to break it. Thanks for making the video in english.
Hi mate. Can you confirm that banking apps work ok after the fix for the play store. Just a bit concerned as I've heard on some phones that using methods like this doesn't always work. I had a P30 Pro and loved it. Best phone I've ever had. Would of got the P40 if it had play store by default. I'm using a Samsung galaxy S20 plus at moment but apart from the 120hz screen I would much prefer my Huawei back!

you can potentially just block that notification and it won't show anymore...shouldn't affect anything

You have to copy from backup folder Huawei folder to root of internal memory. And backupapp will automaticaly detect back up

Try Reset your phone then repeat the method or simply do the method in which u require a PC or an OTG PenDrive

you shouldnt need to uninstall the framework
@@Rooxie973 i also had no problem with notifications. and if you cant fix it, just disable notifications for google play. you dont need it anyway
it works one of the 10, but even after I uninstalled this, I was unable to get rid of notifiacations

For my case, my nova 7i cannot run in the Blue G app, I'm not sure is because of i didnt factory data reset my phone
My nova 7i was on almost a month and try to install Google without factory data reset
@@nigelryan9665 bro, u need to downgrade to some version. I forgot the exact version i did. There is another video to downgrade in order to proceed with these steps

i was getting 1 notification also, what i did open the notification swipe left then a little setting button pops up click on it, and unchecked not to get notification.

Uninstalling Google Services framework always results in my phone freezing. I have to reset but this continues and I can't seem to uninstall it.

I had the same issue. I managed to get around it by force stopping, going back in to clear the data then force stopping again. It uninstalled successfully after this

I found no matter what I do I get notifications so I have just blocked them. For anyone trying to use Maps and it just crashes out then uninstall and reinstall framework service file and your good to go. Thank you for vid. Using a p40 lite e

Can confirm emui 11 works on p40 pro 5g 0 issuse using this method I had some issues with notification but as you said disabled wifi and with patient it all worked great

Dear Redskull, greetings from Dhaka. Thank you for solving the gms issue on Huawei devices. Following your video finally I have succeeded to install gms into my P40 pro and that helped few of the essential google apps like maps, youtube and gmail apps to work. Issues I am facing like some food ordering apps partially work and takes long time to load as it has location search and system can't determine location sometimes on Wifi or sometimes on data. Local Pay wallets does not work and it requires play service which notifies me though I have play service installed through your video. This is just for your information, Thanks for your help.

Yesterday I again follow your steps to reinstall GMS with the intention that this could solve few glitches that I have mentioned on my earlier post. Fortunately GMS installation was perfect this time and all google and other applications like food ordering apps and local wallet apps are working perfectly. Hi I just have a question, if you manage to get the Google Apps installed using this method, will the Google Apps stop working in the future or will they work forever once you've managed to successfully sideload them (like for past fixes did the Google apps stop working after a while or did they continue to work)
Well I got it working for a day and then it stopped and the notifications started coming back again :(

"settings"->"security"->"more settings"->"device administrators"->"谷歌服务助手"->"Deactivate", wait 5 seconds and press and hold the Purple G app, uninstall it. PS: I didn't uninstall it on my phone so that I don't know the consequences. So, take your own risk. :P

I still have a problem with the notifications after the step 5, no matter how many times i do the procedure you show me (uninstall frameworks and then re-install and then restart my smartphone). Very good tutorial it works except the notification from play protect, but I disabled that. Now I wanted to ask how I can add Gmail accounts, because now that isn't working?

Go to settings>apps>google play services> notifications and disable the notifications
I still got the notifications after the last step and some apps weren't working (maps, gmail, covid). But by reinstalling the framework several times the apps started working. Except for covid but I'll leave it like it is as I am afraid to break it.

Hi mate. Can you confirm that banking apps work ok after the fix for the play store. Just a bit concerned as I've heard on some phones that using methods like this doesn't always work. I had a P30 Pro and loved it. Best phone I've ever had. Would of got the P40 if it had play store by default. I'm using a Samsung galaxy S20 plus at moment but apart from the 120hz screen I would much prefer my Huawei back!
