We’re set up financially to retire early but my wife is happy with her routine (working p/t) and isn’t interested in retiring full-time for a few years, so I’m working on things I can do solo when I early retire next year. Like you mentioned, the dialogue will be crucial to ensure we remain aligned on retirement expectations. “Happiness is simplicity.”
