The trivela is like an unintentional homage to the original FIFA game as this was one of the only ways to score,you just ran in from an angle take a shot and it was pretty much a guaranteed goal!

Great video. I have it saved in my playlist and revisit it from time to time as a refresher. I wonder why no one mentions that when not using timed finishing you can power your shot first and then press the trigger button(s) that you feel necessary. It changes up the 'timing' of the shot. When you curve the left analog stick 90 degrees upon hitting the O power up, the animation holds the release of the kick and then you pop it at the end with R1, and it gives a delayed timing throwing off the keeper. I always find classic goal scoring more rewarding than timed finishing, but then again I'm playing the AI mostly.
I know it doesn’t make much difference but for someone like myself with adhd and learning difficulties this is so easy to understand compared to other videos so for that I thank you so much definitely worth the sub
What I feel more struggle is passing. I feel like every pass is intercepted despite dominating the games I can never do that nice play because all passes get intercepted

Yes I feel the same way and if u are playing legendary mode again the. CPU they get the ball so easily and the push u and rush u and I can’t find those combinations to do that back to the cpu .

Being new to the series, it's been almost impossible to find guides online that are helpful. There's really no "tutorial" its just, learn these shots. This was a fantastic video and provided the insight I needed
I usually do a finesse shot in fifa 23 so you hold r1 as well as shoot but you have to hold them both for a perfect amount of time so that it doesn't go over the bar and you don't make yourself look like kepa

Going to try your new tactics video (Dec 15 today) and try to introduce some discipline to my game. I'm Div 5...struggling this year, essentially against Constant Pressure, Haaland, and the Saudi Goggles Hero. Can't tell you how many times I've lost a game where I had the lead. It's such a mental game this year for me...where I can look back after a loss or a win and know, ...I was or wasn't able to stay composed and act on the gameplay...vs my thoughts becoming scattered. FIFA is a never-ending test. Zen-like. H
Hey man. If you keep losing when taking the lead, try making a more defensive setup team sheet and switch to it after you score if you feel like your opponent will hit back. Make a super defensive one, defensive, attacking and super attacking team sheet so you can alternate between them depending on the situation
i just was just able to get to play division rivals and i was getting beat 4-0, 7-1, 10-2 with this video i got pace forwards and tied my next game tysm

This year, I picked up FIFA 23 after having every year release and decided to give online a try…suffice to say, I felt like my skills in FIFA were a complete lie lol. Just getting absolutely slaughtered in matches and it was just super frustrating. So thanks for this video, definitely going to be using these tips to improve in online matches.

Trivela best performed from a wide angle. Power shot best performed infront of goal. 3) R1 Dribbling (strafe): Best used in the attacking third. Use it to create space for the next pass. 4) Second Man Press: Don't use it the whole time. Use it to keep pressure on the ball whilst tracking an attacker's run (ex. marking player run in middle while putting pressure on opposition with ball on wing). Have the next player switch indicator on. 5) Skill Moves: Use skills in the final third. Use skills whilst walking or stopped. Use skills to become unpredictable.

Take your time, slow down and keep an eye for players that open…. I noticed that even AI makes mistakes when rushing….

Jockey and sprint jockey all day long....practice over and over again and you will get better. Don't overcommit though when defending.
