After defeating Mad Dog, Tommy had his eyes set on something bigger... Gotham city
Or as a journalist for the bugel lol
After failing his mission...he went to become a reporter before he was possesed by a black slime.
The fire rises!
Yeah, then after Gotham went Mad Max
😂😂😂😂😂
“ break out the yellow tape, he’s not walking out of the ring he’s leaving a crime scene!” Love that line
Why do people quote stuff, go through the effort of putting it in quotations only to not even get the quote right, I must see these comments on every video, infuriating
American military propaganda is disgusting.
@@chris-y7d1i it releases the emotional energy they feel. movies tend to hit some hard.
That quote isn’t even right
@@chris-y7d1i i think it's pathetic that you let these comments disturb your mentality when it's so trivial and mundane to your health... if we "analyze" you... you're the odd one.
This man acknowledged nothing and no one in and out of that cage but the respect he showed his fellow comrades made this scene and the entire movie for me.
I love how the commentators mentioned how mad dog was going to end the fight... And Tommy did exactly that to him instead 😂
I LOVE that they made Tommy unstoppable until he fights his brother
Those grapplers are the toughest of fighters
No, that just made it seem like an asspull for the brother.
Different fighting styles and he knew how his brother was trained and fought.
Isn’t his brother used to be champion too ? He might have gotten rusty and faded out of shape but hit form just in time...

the ref was on his phone sexting, thats why tommy could get in 25 punches
naw he was enjoying the show.
25 . I count 23...
he just went to the toilet
Well the ref Josh was terrible in all the matches so at least his character was consistent through the movie :).
@@nemak89 maybe he was a nz rugby ref before.
Mad dawg fought like a younger man. Admirable, but mistaken.
Ah you think the cage is your ally. You merely adopted the cage. I was born in it. Molded by it.
Tommy is a member of the league of shadow.
fought? I didn't see any fight lol
No one cared who I was, until I put on the MMA gloves.

"He predicted an early knock out, said he was gonna take Tommy out with one punch and by the way said they're gonna have to pull me off of him"
*Uno Reverso card*
Realistically, Tommy would’ve won this entire tournament without taking a single hit. Mad Dog was the reigning champ and Tommy no-diffed him, there’s no way he should’ve lost to Brendan.
2:22 - "This guys walking away from the cage like he's leaving a crime scene."
This line is always great to me
I love the extra playing a Marine at 1:02 doing the speed ball shadow boxing in the crowd - dude.is the MVP of this scene
Tommy: Wanna see me knock out mad dog
Also Tommy: Wanna see me do it again
Hahahahaha!
I absolutely fucking love that this extremely outspoken quite tommy the whole movie shows little to no emotion except towards his fallen comrades and FINALLY nods respect to the marines I love it.
THIS !
Tommy was an absolute juggernaut in this movie. He pulled no punches and kept swinging until his opponent was down and out, and even then, had to literally be pulled off his opponent to stop.
"He's leaving the cage like he's leaving a crime scene" 🤣
"He left the ring like he's leaving a crime scene" and everybody's a witness. All hail Tommy!
Tom Hardy is the best actor of this generation.
This movie made me fall in love with Tom Hardy and every one of his characters. Idk why this movie doesnt get more love. Its an all time great.
Referee: Hey ring girl watsup?...
Manager: Stop the fight!
Referee: Oh shit!
This movie would have been better if Tommy fought Koba and Brenden fought Mad Dog. It became less believable to have Brenden take down BOTH of the two favored competitors. It would have been more believable to have Koba take some strength out of Tommy from their fight that helped give Brenden the edge. Plus, Tommy vs Koba would have been epic.
Given both fight styles, I believe Tommy would have lost against Koba. They're like the same dude, but Koba has more experience.
Even if I wanted to see that huge clash of titans, but the final scene where Tommy got choked by his brother was too amazing. Everytime I saw this, I cry!
I don't get this notion that Brendan was out of his depth with Tommy. He was the guy with professional experience in the UFC, even if he was a journeyman. Meanwhile Tommy was a wrestler in his teens. I know he was a prodigy but that was years ago. First off we have a precedent in recent years of journeymen returning to top of the UFC. Diaz, Masvidal, Chael, ironically time of this film being released you could accuse Anthony Johnson of being directionless before he found a home at LHW. Point is, lots of professionals have awkward periods, get cut from UFC, then return with hype and new found ability/confidence. If a UFC veteran was scheduled to take on a collegiate wrestler in an MMA fight, years after his wrestling prime...why would the wrestler be the heavy favourite? That doesn't make sense.
John Boy He was a marine. What exactly is a journeyman? I don’t watch MMA
@@bassmaster117 Oh I know he's a marine, he's a real life tough guy dealing with war. But this is a cage fight. There have been decorated heroes/special forces guys in MMA, they've still got beaten up. Journeyman is a fighter who is unremarkable. If you watch team sports, a journeyman would be a pro who bounces around teams. So they're good enough to have a job in a league (premier league/NBA/NFL) but not good enough to be a star.
Tommy is greatest actor and deadliest fighter in this movie
Kudos to all involved in making this movie, epic.
Hell yeah Josh Rosenthal.
1150something in a warehouse in Oakland.

0:57 that moment when you realized Hydra has infiltrated the UFC, also Brendan's trainer is a Hydra agent.

Tom Hardys back is on fleek in this joint.
Mad Dog: "It's not gonna happen again"
-Right before it happened, again
Referee: Is he dead?
Tommy: No…
Referee: Well alright then, keep going
i love how they let him damn near kill him. Did the ref think perhaps to stop the fight while he laid about 10 full blooded punches to the head to an immobile opponent?
That was some Mario Yamazaki the ref did there, he was out after the second punch 😂
Hardy top 5 actors in the planet to day...
The man is a veteran. What do they expect? He isn't just any guy learn a feel fighting moves. He himself is a walking lethal weapon who were trained to kill and protect.
A small detail I love is the lack of eye contact Tommy makes with his opponents until he fights Brendan. Brendan is the only opponent he faced off with and looked at initially before staring into his chest.
Was late to the party discovering this gem.
Warrior is well worth the watch and Hardy is great in it.
Just had a similar fight with the misses, was about 3 weeks ago woke up in St Thomas's hospital literally yesterday.....
1:22 he then proceeded to realize he was very, very, *VERY FUCKIN WRONG*
The best UFS are the 20 seconds what bang thank u mam
I came here to see the Marines sing, but the comments…. These comments are the of best I have ever read in the history of my time on RUclips lol.
This is what guys who say “when I see red” think they can do in fights😂
Mad Dog's physique looks like he's in an entirely lower weight class to Tommy even though he's got a couple of inches on him. Tom looks like he's pushing 90kg, the other guy looks closer to 80kg.
Btw, that closing linke "break out the yellow tape, this guy is not leaving the cage, he's leaving a crime scene" is brilliant and I feel ashamed that's the first time I caught it.
Such a great movie.
Tommy to Mad Dog: "Do you feel in charge?"
I never understand how people pay god knows how much to go watch a fight like that for it to be over in 5secs...And they still cheers him on.
Lmao that ref went to the Mario Yamasaki school of reffing
0:26 older guy in the center of the screen singing the Marine Corps hymn... nice little detail.
Late stoppage, I bet the ref's name was Steve or Mario
He was mario "if his heart is beating he can fight" yamasaki
Little did they know master Callen could beat them but humbled himself in just being an announcer
Marines singing made me tear up. Wd tommy acknowledging
Mad Dog: "It's not gonna happen again!"
Tommy: "No, it's gonna be worse!"
"It not going to happen again"
He was right it was much worst 😂
Right😂😂😂
great movie
I like how Tommy literally did to Mad Dog what he had promised he'd do to Tommy. One punch to knock him down, and they had to pull him off Mad Dog. Those haymakers though.
He didn't punch him to the ground, he clotheslined him. Then pulverized him
@@ryanbennett1933 Alright, fair enough. Still. Lol.
The best part of the movie
lol these movie professional fights are always so unrealistically funny
Gotta love Mad Dogs confidence after Tommy absolutely aniliated him in 15 seconds in the previous
That one Marine swinging his arms around at 1:01 always cracks me up.
Venom came out MAD! Surprised he didn’t bite his head off for a quick snack!
Director choose an actor for Mad dog that looked like a young Nick Nolte. Check it out.
Thats why Tommy beat Mad dog so bad...he never stood a chance.
Mad Dog looks like a CAF I would make in the video game.
Damn didn't realize mario "if he dies he dies" yamasaki made a cameo as the ref in this movie
I fondly call this clip, school bully doesn't know what hit him.
Tommy should be James Bond someday.
It took longer for mad dog to run around the ring than he lasted in that fight
That nigga didn't even wait for the 2 piece and a biscuit to come out of the oven. Before he served it 🤣🤣
That black soldier guy with the specs though 🤣
We all need a real life Tommy Riordan in the UFC..
Mad resect to the extra at 2:17. Dude holding onto the fence really looked scared of Tommy
"It's not gonna happen again."
And he was right.
Khabib vs Mcgregor
This was a lesson 101
That referee would lose his job so fast lol. That was like 20 punches to the head after he was already knocked out.
After defeating mad dog he became a mercenary went after Gotham and then became an anti hero with the help of a symbiote....😂😂
Mad dog had his predictions right in his interview just it was the other way around
He doesn't look into anyone's eyes except for his brothers
That ref was about 10 seconds and 20 heavy, unanswered blows late to the main event.
Mad dog’s coach did an incredible acting job here and throughout this movie.
This is me when I fight elementary school kids at the park. Still undefeated baby!!
Imagine training for revenge and Get pummeled in less than 10 seconds. Damn. Poor Mad dog.
No one cared who I was 'til I put on the gloves 💪
Before that i think "mad dog" in this movie is a yayan ruhian in film the raid 😂😂
"Npc gets reminded hes not the protagonist of the story"
T.y so much
I just watched this at .25 speed. As far as I can tell he never lands one punch. 😆
I do think this is a decent movie though.
Tommy was just taking out all his frustration and anger for her family on anyone stupid enough to be in front of him inside that cage.
Insightful fight commentary "Mad Dog is in trouble" how could they tell? Tommy had only slammed him beat him limp and hit him ten more times in the face on top of it it was way to early to be counting Mad Dog's corpse out.
2:12 that look he gives mad dog laying there unconscious...that's the look right before death
great scene and all but how Tommy initially threw him to the ground is not really clear - you don't just grab someone of this weight and put them on their back with a sweeping move, without even a punch; their initial fight in the gym seemed more realistic to me in this regard
I like how they make Tom Hardy’s character just storm out of the cage with no regard to his opponents well being after the fight. That one detail really shows how much anger the character carries with him.
Bullshet. This kind of asholes doesnt learn the easy way. Mad dog doesnt deserve nor respect no mercy no nothing. Ive been dozen times with people like him in training. He understands only from bashing him skull out, but unfortunately this kind of idiots doesnt learn anything from martial arts lol
The doctors are there to ascertain Mad Dog's wellbeing, not Tommy. Emotions....
to a quote a great man "if he dies he dies"
Marine version of Darth Vader xD
Rage, anger, hatred of his father, the feeling of his brother betraying him and his mother. He carries a lot more than just anger into the ring with him.
Tommy was an absolute monster. No eye contact, no showing off, no attention. Hes there to kill and leave. All that rage and hate inside leaves him not caring about anyone.
Big facts
All of what you said is what he should've had on the battlefield. He deserted, went AWOL! He's a coward for that!
Then he shows up to a competition with a referee & a crowd (ppl he abandoned earlier) AND THEN all of what you said. He's the epitome of a coward & he's trying, I guess, to make up for it. He won but, deep down he's ashamed.
@@YellowPaint100 personal experience? I don't think you're remembering the movie properly, the guy did bail but him and his comrade had their reasons, he even saved people on his way out. You might just be better equipped to judge a real marine generally, but I'm not sure you've understood Tommy's character, he's not doing this for anyone else besides his comrade's wife who he promised he'd take care of. I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of.

Tommy was feeling sadness and guilt and ANGER over what happened with his dad and now that he forgave and embraced his dad, he was able to purge all that raw emotion onto Mad Dog.
