He’d steal fish right off our line, then would bob his head up and stare at us, hence the name. I loved that seal, but he always took the best fish off of our lines. Despite that, he would come to visit us with his seal girlfriend and pups while we roasted marshmallows and hotdogs on the shore. Very smart, but also surprisingly social animals when they want to be ☺️
