When a new episode comes out, I’ll hit the 4k button, pull it out onto the big screen, and bump it up to maximum volume. This is not a home review. It’s an orgasmic cinematic experience.
One of the best houses I've seen! It's airy , beautiful , minimal yet high utilitarian in nature! Clean simple edges and neutral palates enhance the beauty of the house! Well done 👍👍👍👍👍
What I love is that the shots let the natural light speak for itself. Shadows are our friend, not to be scared of. A lot of real estate videos tend to be overly bright, blown windows just to show what the house does not look like. Cheer Squad produces some extremely juicy content! Beautiful cinematography.
I appreciate how the mass of the house is reduced by the projecting "eaves" that create inset volumes and provide shade as well. Two big achievements. Nice blowing curtain effect (reminds me of The Delano Hotel in Miami). Overall a good neighbor and a good home - for two families.
@@Teetee554 Yeah your basically paying 10-15 million AUD for these houses which is 300 x the median Australian income. Beach suburbs in Sydney are only for the mega rich. All the other cities are alot cheaper because they are smaller.
This build was actually quite a tumultuous one amongst the local community, where the modern style doesn't fit with the localised landscape. People were quite upset when the council approved the plans as they ended up knocking down a house that was over 100 years old (this is quite old for Australian buildings). The design could have incorporated the old house rather than knocking it down and rebuilding it from the ground. As a student studying architecture myself, I'm quite disheartened that there was no consideration towards respecting or maintaining local heritage.
These seem to be beautiful spaces. However, the presentation was a little bit jarring. Jumping around from inside to outside, areal shots to indoors, floor to ceiling, and never giving us a regular tour: outside entrance through the front door, and through the spaces. Without that, this video is just a collection of pretty images that we pan through.
Architecture in Australia and New Zealand is on another never. Incredible design and quality finishes.
Same with Brazil
i disagree
the entire reason this video exists is because it does not resemble in anyway austalian architecture lmao
@@Larsino2000 exactly
@@TheKingofdans He wanna say "another level" I supposed.

I don’t know about all that.

This inspired me to study well lmao
Same 😂
Dude, I may seriously consider moving to Australia one of these days - a perpetual bliss.
Same here 🙌 Australia & New zealand seem like the best places nowadays
same but i really hate spiders...
Seems very nice but the types of houses and suburbs they show in these videos arnt accessible to 95% of peoples budgets lol
@@ausboy2281 That's crazy

To see light without seeing the lights - brilliant philosophy!
I have been collecting design references for my future house and this house literally sums it up for me, amazing!
What would you even call this style? Whatever it is, it’s beautiful.
Looks a bit like modern scandinavian design
I think it's Brazilian modernism with an Australian twist
it's called "new simplicity"
I wouldn't call it any style. Just list what you love about these two homes, and there you have your "style".
DKO designs the most beautiful homes. this is my favourite example. haven’t seen a house so gorgeous yet understated, no wonder this costs 6 mil AUD.
I gotta say this channel is amazing . It really makes me want to travel to Australia and practice there :)
Stunning workmanship!
Love that solar panel
Thoroughly enjoyed the video!
Great videography and nice commentary )

Love it!
FABULOUS
love it classsss
Solar at the roof. Atleast someone thought of it for million dollar architect designed homes.
It's very common here in Australia now, thankfully!
🇨🇦🇨🇦We are renovating an old church into our retirement home and homestead!
Exciting - good luck!
Impressive design! Do you mind to spill the land and building dimensions? Thanks
I’ll take either one of the sides 😂 just beautiful
Wish I could see the house in a seamless way... it’s lovely
What’s the wood strips used in outdoor /indoor?
How do you make the curved stairs? Is it poured concrete?
Why do I get some references to Erno Goldfiner? Just me?
Track ID for that second lo-fi tune

Combien coûte cette magnifique propriété ?❤️👍🎩🎩
👏😮
Esse revestimento de madeira no teto é horrível e a manutenção deve ser muito difícil. Mas o contexto geral é inspirador e surpreende.
How do you take heavy stuff up, with a stair like that?
The answer is with money 🤓. You hire others to lift heavy stuff up probably from outside.
Where in manly is this?
😍😍😍
What is the front of 1 Duplex?
California living.
I will never stop commenting about the camera operator. Slider? Gimbal in slow motion? Full crew? One-man-band? So many questions

Like Sandbanks in the UK...lots of old Arts & Crafts mansions knocked down to build marina style modern houses.

Australians do it best
just as good as those Koreans
Please keep the sound of background music lower during speaking, thanks. As always great designs and videography!
I am a critical SOB. I dislike most house. This one though, is okay.
Is it the law in Australia for pools to be fenced in? I've noticed it in other videos and it's not a great look.
Yes, its law.

beautiful houses, jaded presentation, irritating music
Ridiculous
The selfish house, I'd call it, considering the removal of the neighbor's light. Unconscionable act.
Very annoying music
Music is subjective.
This is what you call a designer nightmare. Overblown and underwhelming. Like living in a Westfield
Really dumb design! Good on you for trying to focus on the negatives as positive!
Shit Loud Music
Turn It Off
At Least It Wasn't Another Fisher Paykel Ad
Nice House But
Beautiful
