beatiful, refined and so magical!
Hi Ashley, I feel the same and have always loved walking through her garden. I know she will appreciate your comment.🩷
Thank you for sharing. Your Mother in laws planters and garden are lovely. I think as gardeners we never fall out of love with tending to our garden.
Hello, I agree with that thought, and just love the way you stated that. We never fall out of love with tending to our gardens. 🩷
How nice & sweet to record your Mother-in-Law's garden Jen! It's wonderful to see all the love she put into her garden & patio containers and how incredible that they are still able to maintain their large garden. That's amazing that your Father-in-Law still takes care of that large lawn! I love all the edging too!🪴💚
Thank you, Anne! I enjoyed spending the morning just walking and talking. Such a wonderful way to connect with loved ones too.
This was a beautiful video Jen paying tribute to your in-laws garden! They have an incredible property and it is amazing they can still care for it like they do! I love the lush look of the pachysandra and her containers are beautiful. Love all of the sunpatiens too😊. Thank you to your in-laws and you for sharing!
Hi Devon, thank you! I was so glad they were willing to share with me and RUclips. 😊… They worked together to create something beautiful. 🩷

@@PrettyLittleGarden2930 Awesome!👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful! thank you for sharing :)
Thank you so much for watching!😊
Nice tour of your mom in laws garden. It’s nice that they get help at times because a lot of people look at evergreens as low maintenance but they definitely need pruning throughout. Even the edging of the Pachysandra. Beautiful garden for sure. Wonderful having family members who are gardeners. You are blessed.
Thank you, Renee! My father in law did everything himself for many years (he enjoys working outside). But now has help because , yes, it is a lot to maintain. My mother in law has always loved gardening, and has had beautiful gardens over the years. Blessed to have that shared interest. 💚 Hope you are doing well!
@@PrettyLittleGarden2930 yes doing well. Thanks.
Jen, this is so wonderful!! I love this!! ❤️ I lost my mother-in-love in 2017 so this was a welcome treat.
Thank you, Betty! I’m so glad you enjoyed. Family is a blessing. Not sure you meant to say “Mother-in-love” but how sweet is that! 🩷
@@PrettyLittleGarden2930 yes, I have always said love because she treated me like her daughter.
@@simple_southern_garden that is beautiful Betty.
Hello fellow New Yorker. Well, I am a transplant from Cali learning how to garden in upstate NY. I have noticed that Prince Tut and Queen Tut grow smaller and compact in the ground and way too big in pots. I fertilize everywhere, so I wonder why their sizes vary. Nice Garden. I have close to an acre. I can't wait for my garden to look as nice as your MIL's. I've only gardened for four seasons.
Edit: those hydrangeas that didn't bloom could have also had a cold snap, which killed the flowering buds. I have the PW wee-bit series ones. Last year, they didn't bloom because the cold snap we had killed them blooms. this year they had maybe very few buds.
Hello there fellow New Yorker! Wow, I can imagine it was quite an adjustment with gardening moving from California. It’s great you have such a nice sized property. Lots of room to learn and grow! That’s interesting about the tuts in the ground vs. pots. My baby tut got huge and it is really too big for the pot I have it in. Will readjust next year. Great point about late frost too with the lack of hydrangea blooms. Definitely a possibility I wasn’t thinking about! I appreciate your comment. 😊
The tall plants with yellow flowers seem to be Jerusalem Artichokes, they would like to be in full sun, that might take care of the powdery mildew too...
@@Segorean Thank you, Aura! I will let my mother in law know. I looked up a picture and that seems to match. She told me they just bloomed this past week too. I will also pass along that they prefer sun. ☀️… I knew someone out there would know. Much appreciated!
