It’s hard to believe this movie is 28 years old. I still piss myself laughing every single time I watch it. It has been a few, trust me, especially when I need some cheering up, which is becoming more and more common.
It may have been mentioned but in that opening scene the hockey player in the all white jersey is Vincent LeCavier captain of the Tampa Bay Lightning when they one the Stanley Cup in 2004

Happy Gilmore is one of the best conservative films all time. The films stars chronically unemployed fantasy driven man who uses extravagant, attention seeking, violent behavior to bully/intimidate his way to fame/financial success. But allows women and prior generation man with sage like wisdom to temper his inhibitions/aggression, instill work ethic, cultivate skills to overcome and even succeed in elevating 2 people from economic disparity.
I seen movie a probably literally 100 times and I just realized, Chubz lost his hand because his Temper WAS EXACTLY like Happy's when he played golf, that's why he didn't want to explain the WHOLE story 😅
The one where Happy pulled the guys shirt off and punched him in the face 🤣
