    Great video but you should have a hard hat on when loading is in progress.WCB would have a field day if they showed up.great video s though but I m glad I don't log any more.those rigging units look scary on narrow roads

    Those trailers are a pain. I pull a hayrack trailer logging in alberta. Quite a different set up than we use. Ours is much more simple. Hook up glad hands and electrical at electrical at the beginning of the season and don't touch it until the end of the season lol
    Also, they would never let us be out of the truck while loading. That's the only time for a coffee break/ lunch break

    19:43 Why aren't high-performance nylon tension straps with ratchets used to fasten the tree trunks? Everyone knows that chain links carry a high risk of breakage!😮 They are also lighter and more comfortable to use!!!

      Chains are only required for public roads, the load weighs itself down. Chains do not cause breakage that’s only if you overtighten and are carrying bulk small logs

    Thank you from Minnesota. The veiws are great. I appreciate the work you put in for the videos. This length is perfect. What is in the tractor that makes her judt ealk up amd down the hills. Whats gearing. Please and thank you

    • @CoolLifeIsWonderful
      @CoolLifeIsWonderful  Год назад

      Not sure what you are asking but all drive axles can be lock in like a four wheel drive truck so you get choose your power on the drives you can use one or lock in the centre one so you have two pushing or lock in the third axles so you have all three pushing and as for gears it depends on how steep the hill is lower for steeper hills but having chains on you don’t go faster then 50 k or you will ruin the chains hope this answer your questions

    Hooking those trailer connections has got to be a pain in the caboose. Never enough slack... What kind of wood is that and are those fold down standards spring loaded?

    • @CoolLifeIsWonderful
      @CoolLifeIsWonderful  Год назад

      No they are a lot nicer to hook up then other trailers and these unit can get into more places then other truck with different set up this wood was pulp not good for lumber or peelers but good for making paper the stakes do have a spring in them
