@@shagunpriya1978 yes that is the technical part of any proposal but that is hardly asked in an interview. Focus more on the theoretical portion of your topic and focus more on your subjects. In most of the interviews you'll be asked questions on your subjects only, less emphasis is given to research proposal. there are hundreds of statistical techniques available today you can't get a hang over every technique, but you can get complete in formation about the basic tests like t test f test anova etc. OLS MLE, MOM, simultaneous eqn modelling etc.

for 6 months classes are held at main campus of IGNOU i.e. in Maidan Garhi near Saket Metro Station Delhi. There's no hostel facility you will have to arrange pg or a flat nearby.

@@kts8278 30 non net candidates get IGNOU RF pf ₹8000. For that you will have to be on top of your subject as there are 25 subjects in which admissions take place and from one department hardly one or two student will be able to take up this fellowship.
everything is easy if you do it with honesty. syllabus of ignou is also comprehensive so it's not like it's easy there but you can make it easy with your efforts.
Regarding exam entrance do they conduct offline. What about the exam venue? For meghalaya students will they get to write their exam in their state only?

phd is the only program in ignou which is in regular mode and not distance. you will have to come to ignou main campus in maidan garhi to attend lectures.

IGNOU offers phd in english, please check the prospectus given on the website for the same.
