Thank you for the video. it's not a song that I know and I don't know anything really about Katy Perry, but I've agreed to play bass with a friend on this song. I can play bass quite well on rock and Blues tracks, but I don't have a musical ear and when I looked online it wasn't very clear when the chords change. I have absolutely no desire or ability to try to play bass that is on a record what I need to do, other than for specific riffs such as in Paranoid ,is learn the chord progression, get into the groove and then make up the bases I go along. is not for pay performance. it's for a jam. so your wonderful presentation and then you playing it through with the chords is exactly what I'm looking for. personally, I prefer your version and how you sing and play to the Kate Perry version.

I might become a patron at a later stage but I have fairly recently moved ti France from the UK and have 1001 things to do and I don't have the time other than to dip. my feet in the muddy water when I have the need and time. another comment is that I will mention your site to other people I know who play bass as I think too many Bass lessons Are inappropriate for people like myself. in my opinion, many of the base tuition sites concentrate quite fanatically on what is played on the original and certainly for me it's too hard to learn and remember the exact notes and I think it gives it that certainty if you base your own bass on the court? hence, the way you present the guitar lesson is exactly what I need and I think of other people need rather than getting stressed about specific notes. They rarely say the original is quite close to this, but don't worry. use this as a basis for your base of course it's a professional people. can't commit on other people's approach to teaching and my comment is not a criticism of them. it's just that it's not what I am.orvmany other people are looking for 🎸
