Synopsis:
Grandpa Ba of Longboat Village adopted three children: Qin Laoda, Qin Laoer, and a girl named Bacha. All three of their fathers died at Eagle Beak Rock on Man River. Qin Laoer was always infatuated with Bacha, but she liked Laoda.
As a result, Laoer became even more withdrawn, seeming to step out of their world and live as an observer. When they grew up, Qin Laoda navigated through the treacherous Eagle Beak Rock and succeeded Grandpa Ba as the new helmsman of the village. At the inauguration ceremony, Grandpa Ba entrusted both the helm and Bacha to him. Grandpa Ba passed away shortly after.
